One of the best Indian food experiences in a long while. Authentic, deeply flavoured food prepared with care and extensive preparation. They are passionate, they talk about the food with you, they are attentive and love to serve. Their manager Rocky cares that you have a satisfying meal.
From outside it doesn't look much, inside it is standard decor. But open the menu and there are many unique dishes not found elsewhere. This is a being your own alcohol place but you won't care if you do not have any. I paid cash and I am not sure they accept cards, so go prepared but seriously, do go for the food, welcome and taste.
Prices are cheap but the food is worth more. I cannot recommend it highly enough, forget the prestigious places in the area, this is the real deal. This is not new glamourous Indian dining, this is food for filling your stomach and to make you smile for hours in delight.
Thank you for a truly splendid meal, your passion and care. The locals were dining there on a Wednesday and I would too if I lived there.

Read moreOne of my first experiences occurred when I tried to book a restaurant for 10 people for the 12th of June, 2024. First of all, I felt that the person I spoke to didn’t care about the business. He asked for a credit or debit card to secure the booking. I told him that I didn’t want to disclose my debit or credit card details online, and he responded that, in that case, I couldn’t book a table there. I asked if I could make a bank transfer instead, but he said they didn’t have that option. I suggested he get back to me the next day with the details, but he said he couldn’t do that because the owner was away. It’s impossible that no one in the restaurant knows the booking details when the owner is away. It seems obvious that he is trying his best to reduce business when the owner is not around. I told him I would mention this in a review, and he said to go ahead since the restaurant has been running...
Read moreHands down one of the best Indian Restaurants that I have been to in my 20+ years in London..the restaurant is small , very intimate, sometimes your knocking elbows with the table beside you, but this adds to the joyous atmosphere. With attentive hosts, and a very happy story telling owner it is an experience one must have. My family is from Ireland and when the visit we always come back..not only does the owner recognise you and welcome you back. He remembers the table you sat at and your order of starters. We got our picture taken for our own personal account and also one from the manager to put up on his Facebook page and website..I strongly recommend this place..oh did I mention, it's bring your own booze with no corkage charge! Simply India, simply the best..West Kensington, Indian...
