I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Anjana and Donilce, a member of staff who demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and kindness during my visit. Upon noticing that I am Muslim, she informed me that the food I was about to purchase contained alcohol, and kindly assisted me in selecting an alternative. I was truly grateful for her thoughtfulness and consideration.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Donilce for her outstanding assistance during my visit. Upon learning that I do not consume food containing alcohol, she went out of her way to ensure I selected an appropriate meal.

With great kindness and patience, she walked with me through the options available, carefully explaining which items were suitable. Her warm demeanor and genuine attentiveness made me feel incredibly comfortable and valued.

Donilce’s beautiful smile and thoughtful service truly stood out, and I will always be grateful for the care she showed. Exceptional staff like her make all the difference — thank you, Donilce.

Anjana consistently greets customers with a warm and welcoming smile, creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Her professionalism and genuine care have made a lasting impression, and I now regularly choose this location for my lunch.

Thank you, Anjana — I look forward to seeing...

Itsu, located at a prime spot near St Paul’s Cathedral, is a quick-service Japanese restaurant perfect for a convenient lunch. The setup is modern, clean, and efficient, making it easy to order and settle in without much wait. We opted for the vegetarian sushi platter and Korean spicy noodles. The sushi platter was the highlight of our meal—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, easily matching expectations of good Japanese dining. However, the Korean spicy noodles were disappointing. As vegetarians, we found the taste slightly off, with a smell that didn’t sit well and turned down the overall experience. Portion sizes were fair, and prices were reasonable for the central London location. Staff was polite, and the service was quick, which added to the convenience. Overall, Itsu is a great choice for sushi lovers seeking a quick, fresh bite, though the noodle options may not be...

We went to Itsu on the recommendation of a friend, who had said they would have food suitable for a coeliac with a soya allergy. While the staff were helpful and able to provide the allergen menu for us to have a look at, their actual awareness of what was safe or not was lacking, and had we taken their word alone I'd have been very ill.

I do understand that with such a broad menu, it's difficult to keep a mental track of all the allergens. But that is why the allergen menu exists. There is no shame in saying that you don't know, and to refer to the allergen menu, rather than trying helpfully to guide someone's choice in a direction that may actually not be safe. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say.

Good range of cold foods, but it was a cold, wet, windy day at St Paul's, and I really needed to eat something hot, so we...

It is my first review for Itsu (I believe) despite the fact that I actually do enjoy itsu much since it’s discovery. This time I want to thank whole team for overal experience with Itsu food and service and of course famous 50% price drop loyal customers do enjoy much. Also wanted to comment on the itsu food available to purchase in local supermarkets and online. Thank You for this. It feels good that you can “repeat” same experience as going out to the actual Itsu restaurant by being at home (on a certain extend of course). This day at St Paul itsu 29 of October around 18:00 was a lovely lady (if I am not mistaken Maddy) on shift. 6 stars and will visit you soon again 🙏🏼

Twice I have been given half empty rice bowls. Problem is the lids are not transparent and you do not check every time what you have received and by the time you reach your destination and open the stupid container, it is too late to come back. EDIT: I complained on Twitter and manager came back to me with a refund and a promise that this will not happen again. that to me is good customer service. I upgraded it to 3 star and will go to 4 if it never happen in the next three months.
