Went to this bar at 4pm last Friday, they boast happy hour from 4pm to 7pm but they weren’t open. A guy came to the door and said they don’t have enough staff and will open in 30 mins. As I was waiting for friends, I came back 40 mins later. We got a table for 4 and started ordering drinks and small plates. We were first served by a lovely lady then unfortunately we got a guy with dreads who was dreadful, no pun intended. This guy looked like he was on something. The service was so bad, even asking for cutlery proved difficult, we had to ask 3 times and explain to him why we needed cutlery. His whole demeanour was just off putting and he kept drinking alcohol from behind the bar, whilst a female who appeared to be a manager did nothing. He messed up our order and our bill at which point we were fed up, and then asked to settle the bill and leave. The experience here put a damper on our evening. It’s a shame as it looked like a nice bar but the cocktails were average, food disappointing and service pathetic. Unlikely to return. I’d rather pay full price for drinks and get a decent level of service. Plenty of much nicer bars in the City for drinks. To the Management of Dirty Martini: please hire decent people with customer service ethics and people that actually want to do the job, not lazy, uncouth thugs with attitude! City clientele don’t appreciate that. Why would anyone want to go out to experience such service. You should sack Mr Dreadful for drinking on the job and lacking people skills. UPDATE in response to Dirty Martini’s reply: Please note that this review was an accurate account of what my party experienced. There are absolutely no derogatory remarks being made, merely a description of the individual together with his behaviour and how he treated us. He literally treated us as if he was doing us a favour. We made other staff aware of this on the night. They spoke to him and he just shrugged. The two ladies working there apologised and asked if they could give us complimentary drinks to say sorry. We declined as the male kept giving us funny looks. It is therefore bemusing to hear that the same individual has a reputable record, which begs the question, why did he treat us differently? Why discriminate against us? Or perhaps it was a race thing as another reviewer mentioned. Whatever it was, we were definitely treated differently from other customers. Many thanks for raising my complaint. Do provide a contact email address for your head office so that I can make a formal complaint.

the ambiance is nice. presentation is pretty, the food needs seasoning; we didn't care for it. now for the service, was a little disappointed when the waiter told us we had to go to the bar from our table to place our order for him to turn around and take the order of a another group of women. not sure if it was a race thing. lastly, being a bartender, i know when im duped on drinks. false advertisement. what they say is in the drinks they make is not. i know what my drinks should taste especially when you claim your using specific brands. its all rail liquor. my love affair tasted like nothing. the long island tasted like water and they wanted to debate with me on how it should taste. they said its premixed. why are you premixing a long island??? scam. personally i wouldnt come back here bc they are cheating their customers. its unfortunate. im sure they are probably illegally marrying bottles with cheap liquor. i could respect them more if they just said they are using liquor from the rail.

Shard of plastic in food (Bottomless Brunch). Overall lacklustre experience l. Been to a few Dirty Martinis but first time at St Pauls for their Bottomless brunch. Service was slow. Normally you receive a glass of prosecco on arrival, which we didn't get. Was seated and orders taken on first drink. After this we waiting over 30 mind for our next drinks. Memeber of our party decided to order at the bar and was served quicker than our Bottomless order. Which meant staff were prioritising them. The worst was when the food arrives. One of the spicy burgers had a shard of glass on it. Very dangerous and unhygienic. Staff member apologised for this but nothing was done to compensate for this. The one positive was the lady serving us seemed genuinely sorry and looked like more staff was needed.

Dirty Martini is a popular cocktail bar chain in London, known for its stylish venues, extensive drink menus, and lively atmosphere. I recently visited their Covent Garden location on a Friday night, and it was a mixed bag. The interior of Dirty Martini Covent Garden is undeniably chic. Think dimly lit spaces, plush seating, and a sleek bar – perfect for a sophisticated night out. The music was upbeat, leaning towards commercial R&B and pop, which created a good party vibe without being overwhelmingly loud, allowing for conversation. Now, for the drinks. Dirty Martini offers an impressive array of cocktails, from classic martinis to more inventive concoctions. They also have a fantastic happy hour, which runs for a significant portion of the evening, making their otherwise premium-priced drinks much more accessible. During happy hour, cocktails are half price, and there are deals on wine and prosecco too. We sampled a few of their signature martinis, including the "Lychee Martini" and of course, the "Dirty Martini." While the Lychee Martini was well-balanced and refreshing, the Dirty Martini itself was a little underwhelming – perhaps not "dirty" enough for my personal taste, lacking that briny kick I look for. However, the sheer variety on offer means there's likely something for everyone. The service at the bar was efficient despite the growing crowd, and the bartenders were generally friendly. Where Dirty Martini really shines is its atmosphere. It's a fantastic spot for after-work drinks, a birthday celebration, or a lively catch-up with friends. The crowd was diverse, ranging from young professionals to groups celebrating special occasions. It gets busy, especially later in the evening, so be prepared for a bit of a buzz and potentially a short wait at the bar. Overall, Dirty Martini offers a vibrant and stylish experience. While some of the cocktails might not be groundbreaking, the happy hour deals and the lively ambiance make it a worthwhile destination for a fun night out. It's a reliable choice if you're looking for a lively bar with good music and an extensive cocktail list in central London. Just be sure to go during happy hour if you want to make the most...

I visited Dirty Martini as part of a Hen group on Saturday 12th August 2023. The service we received was absolutely awful. The lady serving our drinks wasn't bad but the manager I think he was called Palwinder was just so rude. I have never experienced such behaviour from a person who is meant to manage and oversee that customers are having a good time. We asked him for an extra table so that we could spread out as it was a bit of a squeeze and he said 'NO' really loudly then walked off. We were quite taken back by his behaviour. He then came back and gave us a table lower than the one we were sitting on but we managed. He came over a second time and said he wants the table back, bearing in mind it's only been 5 minutes and my friends had just settled down in their seats again. I said what are you doing? he said and I quote 'it's my table and I can do whatever I want with it', (what an odious man) he took the table didn't even give my friends a chance to remove their belongings and walked off to give it to another customer who had just walked in. My advice to head office is that he really needs to go on a customer service course and be upskilled because the level of service we received was absolutely appalling, it ruined our evening and it was just so unnecessary. We were not a rude or boisterous group of ladies so to be treated like this was very unfair. I hope you take this complaint into some consideration so that it does not happen to anybody else. PS just for the record I give zero stars for our experience and it would have been minus if this was a...
