I was a little unsettled by one of the recent reviews, and I do hope it was truly a one-off. Today was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were warm, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients in each dish. I sampled a bit of everything: miso soup, salmon poke, kaiso salad, prawn gyoza and the signature roll special “Everest.” Everything was delicious! While I personally would have preferred a little less sweet sauce on a couple of dishes, that’s purely down to my own taste (and I’ll be sure to ask the kind chef about that next time 😊). The atmosphere of this restaurant also deserves a special mention: it’s a cosy, quiet spot with a simple yet pleasant interior. As soon as you step inside, you feel completely removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. I wish this place continued success, along with plenty of hungry - but polite, well-mannered and generous - customers! Thank you!

Subpar but not terrible, tuna had fishy smell. Cheap prices. Dine in. It was mostly edible. Came for the good reviews, ended up ordering more food than we could finish… £60 two people. Didn’t know whether to offer the excess roll to a homeless person or discard it in the rubbish bin 🗑️. Ended up discarding… nobody wanted. Hate wasting food. Also hate wasting dosh. Presentation was good. Service was okay… Hostess relocated us upon request… but nobody was around to check on us and we ended up refilling our own waters with a bottle we brought. Tuna had a fishy smell and mushy texture… may have been off. We ate around it. 🤞🏻 we don’t get sick 🤢 … Good salmon. Clearly a take out / delivery spot. Maybe we came on an off day for ingredients..? 1/5 Because we are afraid to eat the tuna… and to bring the review score closer to an appropriate level. 3/5 if the tuna was fresh… because cheap price. There were other issues but that was a BIG turnoff.

I was definitely not very lucky that day but unfortunately I did not have a good experience in this restaurant. When we arrived we were alone in the room, so the kitchen was not under stress. We made a large order to try a bit of everything. The fried food was dark, bitter and almost inedible, especially the crab, the oil was definitely not very clean. We took different types of rolls, the rice was without salt and had no taste, whatever we ate we did not notice any difference in taste. Even the Prawns and Salmon noodles were not good, the seafood had been fried for sure with the same oil as the fried food. The service was sufficient even though sometimes we were alone for a long time in the room. In conclusion, I hope for the restaurant that it was an isolated case, I should give 2 stars but I give 3 to try to only raise alarm for the owner of the restaurant.

I had a wonderful experience with this Japanese sushi restaurant! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.

The first thing that stood out was the freshness of the ingredients. The sushi was beautifully prepared, with vibrant cuts of fish that tasted clean, tender, and full of flavor. Every bite felt carefully crafted, not rushed or mass-produced. The rice had the perfect texture and seasoning—slightly warm, with a delicate balance of vinegar that really brought out the taste of the fish.

We ordered a mix of everything to try different flavors and tastes. Proud to say we had a really well experience and the food was amazing too.

Even though we took our order to go, everything was packaged with care. The rolls stayed intact, and the presentation was surprisingly elegant for takeout. They included soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger, and utensils—everything we needed for a proper sushi night at home.

Service was also great. The staff was friendly, polite, and efficient. They double-checked our order and made sure it was ready on time. It’s clear they take pride in what they do.

Overall, this place is a gem for sushi lovers. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, you can expect quality, flavor, and excellent service. Highly...
