Jumbos Peri Peri — Restaurant in London

Very disappointed with this place. My mum is always ranting and raving about this place, I often walk past and see that it’s busy. Plus the owner is a well known resident of plashet road, I had very high expectations. My mum wanted a treat so I spent £30 here and I was only happy with half of the order. The pizza was lovely, the half chicken was amazing. Chips were cooked well. The value bucket was something I was really looking forward to, everything was so oily and all the breading was falling apart. The wings were tiny and very pink on the inside, it made me disgusted. The fillets were nonexistent, I was expecting crispy succulent tenders, but they were like chicken popcorn with sad breading falling off due to the oil. The 4 piece chicken from the bucket was oily, grey and undesirable. The chicken fillet burger meal was probably one of the saddest burgers I’ve ever come across, it was full of lettuce, the chicken was so thin and nonexistent that I had to lift the bun and see if anything was even there. It was just 70% bun, 20% lettuce and 10% chicken. Even to pick up my order, it took a really long time. They put my pizza on the counter and left it there for 10 minutes whilst they boxed everything up very slowly. Food was cold, they could have boxed things up and left it inside the heating rack but no sense from the workers. I joked with my mum to never recommend a food place again to me, and she offered to cover the cost of £30 after seeing how disappointed I was with it. I will never order food from here again...

My bro got some pizzas and burgers from here on his son’s birthday. Pizza was just about edible, but the burgers were sloppy, with way too many chillies added and sliced in. The fires tasted of salt. Overall the food is very very average here, and I can’t recommend the chicken burgers because I personally found them leaky, poorly put together. They were cooked well, but the flavours didn’t do it for. Just tasted like a big glob of chilli. Maybe I will try their food again one day and if I am more impressed I will revise this review, but I am glad I didn’t pay for the food from Jumbo my at the party because when you pay that much you expect the food to be good. It wasn’t. They also don’t deliveries so you have to go to this dump to get very very average food, so unless you are local, there is almost no reason to go there and even people who live nearby will probably walk past at least 50 superior chicken and chips before they walk...

What a terrible disgrace. Food and service used to be good, but has gone severely downhill. Staff are extremely rude.

Had to wait an hour for my food, only for them to get my order grossly wrong! They gave me incorrect items I didn't even order and then when I called to let them know, they had the audacity to tell me it was my fault for taking the wrong order. They hadn’t even cooked the items I ordered.

They asked me a total of 7 times what my correct order should have been. Had to wait a further 20 minutes for replacement items. The rest of my food went cold and ruined the whole meal for the family. Even when I returned, they asked me again what my order was.

The place is filthy, the staff are extremely rude and moody and the food is mediocre at best. Taken customers for advantage and become very complacent. Zero care in the food, cleanliness or the business as a whole.
