⭐ One Star – Only because zero isn’t an option.
If you’re ever in the mood to be disappointed, this place delivers — quite literally.
Goat Curry – Or should I say, Goat Bone Curry? Because apparently, meat is optional here. What I got was a bony archaeological dig site soaked in what could generously be called curry. Not even close to a basic Indian preparation — unless you’re confusing it with boiled disappointment.
Chana Masala – Sweet chickpeas swimming in oil. I guess they mistook it for a dessert? Spoiler alert: there’s no masala in this chana masala, unless “oil with a hint of sugar” is the new trend in Indian cooking.
Dal Makhni – You know that rich, creamy, slow-cooked delicacy? Yeah, this wasn’t it. This was more like a distant relative who showed up uninvited and brought sadness in a plastic tub.
Garlic Naan – Stretchy, undercooked, and somehow managed to taste like regret. Bonus points for being wrapped in an oily pouch that could double as a hand moisturizer (if you hate your skin).
The chef — if there is one — needs to be reminded that food is meant to be cooked, not just dumped in oil and prayed over. The pricing is truly ambitious for something that feels like it came out of a school canteen on strike.
Packaging? A horror show. Plastic boxes leaking oil, naan swimming in it, and the entire experience wrapped in disappointment.
In conclusion: If you’re looking to clog your arteries, ruin your evening, and pay a premium for the privilege — this is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor: swipe left...
Read moreVisited with friends; the ambience was great, but the food was disappointing. Most dishes lacked authentic flavors and tasted quite bland. We ordered pani puri, samosa chaat, papdi chaat, vegetable pakora, paneer shashlik, vegetarian noodles, aloo paratha, chole bhatura, and gajrela.
The papdi chaat was almost identical to the samosa chaat, which was unexpected, and it neither looked nor tasted as it should. The vegetable pakora was undercooked, and the vegetarian noodles had an unexpected sweetness, which made them unappealing. Except for the paneer shashlik and chole bhatura, the rest of the dishes were underwhelming in taste and quality. The masala tea was pretty bad, lacking the authentic Indian touch, and the gajrela was the worst I’ve had—lacking both sweetness and flavor.
Overall, the food did not meet expectations and portion sizes could...

Visited Kesar II, Bexleyheath with family on a weekend based on positive reviews, but it turned out to be a letdown. Without a reservation, I walked in expecting to wait. The restaurant was small and busy, but there was no reception or staff acknowledging new guests. After some awkward waiting, I asked a server about availability and was abruptly told, “We are busy today,” with no further assistance. Calling the restaurant yielded the same dismissive response.
I've dined at many places, but never faced such indifference. I can’t comment on the food, but the hospitality left much to be desired. A little courtesy goes a long way—something this place sorely lacked. I hope the owners take note...
