Unsatisfactory Mini Fillet Wrap and Unacceptable Staff Conduct at KFC Bishopsgate I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your KFC Bishopsgate location where I purchased a Mini Fillet Wrap. I am a regular customer and frequently order the Mini Fillet Wrap, so I am very familiar with its typical size. On this occasion, the wrap I received was significantly smaller than usual – literally half the size of a standard mini fillet. It was far from what I expect and regularly receive when ordering this item. Furthermore, I was appalled by the rude and racist behaviour of your staff when I questioned the size of the wrap. I was met with highly inappropriate comments, specifically being told that "DESI South Asian people don’t understand when it’s mini it is mini." This statement is not only incredibly offensive and discriminatory but also completely uncalled for.
Due to the egregious nature of both the product discrepancy and the racist remarks, I left the wrap at your store as I had no interest in consuming such a subpar product after experiencing such disrespectful treatment. Let me be clear: I am not interested in visiting this store again. Furthermore, l intend to share my experience widely within my university community and across my social media platforms to ensure others are aware of the service and discriminatory behaviour I encountered at KFC Bishopsgate.
Such behaviour from your employees is unacceptable and creates a hostile environment for customers. I request that you investigate this matter thoroughly, both concerning the inconsistent portioning of the Mini Fillet Wrap and, more importantly, the racist remarks made by your staff. I expect your staff to be polite, respectful, and free from prejudice. I look forward to your response and a resolution to this...
Read moreAbsolutely horrendous. I am or should I say was a regular customer here. So here is the scenario - 5 people waiting in a queue. I was 3rd in line we all waited a full 18 minutes and here is the ridiculous part, the short Indian/ Sri Lankan lady did not once look behind and acknowledge any of us 5 miffed but patiently waiting customers. Her sole focus was completing deliveroo orders and that is it. About another 2 minutes pass a 6th customer 20 minutes now. I got bold and asked Excuse me can we get some service? I am on my Lunch break! Now she turns around oh the till is not working use kiosk. Now we queue up for kiosk. 35 mins total to get food and she forgets to give me a drink. I went back to my workplace to notice. Then I returned to get a drink. She starts to argue that she gave a drink. After a bit of too and fro they gave me my drink. Got to work coldish food and either it was stale and double cooked or just cooked in dirty oil because colour was between brown and black-way too dark for fresh chicken. Another observation was the middle aged polish woman manager a super Karen-she refused a homeless guy a chicken piece that they were going to church out. It a heartbreaking scene, a truly desperate elderly man in his 50s not on drugs or anything. He was turned away after she argued with him. I helped the guy myself in the end but it was a sad thing to see. I hope this sad woman was not selling old chicken in the shop instead of chucking. It is a possibility looking at quality of chicken I was served. Worst service!!! God Forbid it has just Got worse this is taking the mickey. 2 words " Explosive Diarroeha" I'm hoping it is not food...
Read moreI placed an order in October 2023 last year from this KFC restaurant through the Uber eats platform while at work. My order consisted of 2 Zinger meals and 2 fries, twice (totaling 4 Zinger meals and 4 fries). However, upon receiving my order, I found that half of it was missing.
I immediately contacted the restaurant, and while they acknowledged the error, they refused to assist and directed me to contact Uber Eats. When I raised the issue with Uber Eats, they also refused to help, advising me to leave a review and promising to pass the feedback to the restaurant for future service improvements.
I attempted to resolve the matter through Uber Eats' chat, requesting at least a partial refund or a full refund, given that I had ordered the meals for my work colleagues as well. Despite my efforts, Uber Eats refused to acknowledge the issue. They maintained that the restaurant needed to address the mistake, while the restaurant insisted that I should deal with Uber Eats for the refund.
I paid £21.59 for the order and never received any refund or resolution. I hold both KFC and Uber Eats accountable for this poor customer service. KFC, despite being aware of their error, did not make an effort to coordinate with Uber Eats to rectify the situation. I spoke to Zahid, who claimed to be a manager and assured me he would address the issue, but he was never available when I followed up.
As a result of this experience, I have decided not to order...
