I had a disappointing experience at my local KFC yesterday. When I approached the counter and politely asked about “what a Fillet”, the lady serving me was unnecessarily rude and replied “It doesn’t come with a burger” I simply asked her then what’s is a Zinger burger she response was blunt and dismissive. I speak English fluently, yet the way she responded made it seem like I didn’t understand the menu, even though I was reading directly from it.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had a negative interaction with this particular staff member—she’s served me before with the same unfriendly attitude, no smile, and a tone that made me feel unwelcome. It’s clear she isn’t interested in delivering good customer service.
I completely understand that staff can have bad or busy days—we all do. But that doesn’t give anyone the right to speak to customers in a disrespectful way. I’m sure if the roles were reversed and we spoke to staff like that, it would be called unacceptable, and rightly so. Respect goes both ways.
On a more positive note, the other lady next to her, who was packing the food, was polite and smiled while handing over my order. I appreciate her professionalism and kindness.
I hope management addresses this, as customer service is just as important as the...
Read moreI had a very unpleasant experience at KFC during a recent visit, which was about an hour before closing time. I placed my order and politely requested the access code for the toilet to wash my hands. To my surprise, the Team Lead, Kobir, refused and told me I couldn’t dine in as they were cleaning which I respectfully accepted.
However, when my food was finally handed over, the drink was missing. I politely asked for it, but Kobir looked at me rudely and completely ignored me, continuing to prepare other orders. I had to ask again, and only then did he check the screen and hand me the drink, with no apology and in a very dismissive manner.
I understand staff may be tired toward closing, but basic courtesy and professionalism should not be optional. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially from someone in a leadership role. I hope KFC management addresses this behaviour seriously to prevent such treatment...
Read moreI have to say this was the baddest experience with KFC. First of all I get to the shop, and there are 2 people in front of me. The guys serving (one of them is doing the registry, other one is sitting around, one is making the food, and the front person at the cashier which was moving very very very slow) In total 4 employees in the run. Beside the fact there were 2 persons in front I waited like 15 minutes to get served, and when I got to the till the guy was like: I cannot offer you a bucket, because we don't have wings or chicken. I was shocked and kinda told him, how is this possible since I wasted 15 minutes to get my turn, and now you're saying there is no chicken and I need to wait another 10 minutes for it to cook. Utterly disappointed and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND that shop. Overall experience bad. I would never go back there in my life, should have went to the one near...
