I ordered for delivery and this is the first time from KFC itself and only choice the KFC mobile phone App provided were Wembley and Alperton. So, I chose Wembley as it is closer to home than Alperton. I had an offer in the App which provided 6 piece bargain bucket free if £10 or more value of KFC is ordered for delivery. Usually, I rarely choose delivery for food orders or take away. As it it was getting late yesterday (07 January 2023, around 10.30 - 10.40 pm, order number #7259), I chose delivery option. I ordered 1 bargain bucket (which is £16.99), the free offer (of 6 piece bargain bucket) and another 4 piece of chicken for £5.00 (which was prompted by the App). The complaint is I have received only 12 pieces (which is 6 piece for £16.99 and the free offer 6 piece bargain bucket). The thing is whoever filled the bucket chose the size bucket just enough to fill 12 pieces. Therefore, it appears it was either deliberately or accidentally missed the 4 pieces of chicken (£5.00). The chip was also in a box so I cannot say about the portion.
I tend to think it is on the deliberate side because the order was for 3 distinct containers (2 buckets, one box or similar for 4 pieces and one container for chips, and I do appreciate KFC reducing use of reinforced paper containers if it done properly (reducing waste and environmental concerns), so al in all I am for reducing the use of number of containers as it is done in my order). So choice of just one container just enough for 12 pieces does raise questions. Similarly if a bigger bucket (that can contain more than 12 pieces) is chosen, it is reasonable that the missing third item (of 4 pieces) is an accidental occurrence. However, I still want to give benefit of the doubt towards towards accidentally missing 3rd item (4 pieces of chicken).
Very disappointed and all in all ruined the offer, experience of ordering for delivery and dining, in particular this is the first time of ordering from KFC for delivery.
However, I must say that delivered chicken pieces are cooked well including chips and warm (considering the weather was cold) and delivered within the time stated in the order.
I am not saying all KFCs are like this and I had previously given excellent ratings to KFCs where I had good experience.

Read moreFor many years now, this branch has adopted a policy of serving any orders received via food delivery apps such as JustEat and/or UberEats with poor quality pieces of chicken that they would otherwise not offer to customers in store.
I know this because I have purchased both in store and via delivery apps and the difference in quality is shocking. Last night I spent £24.99 and what was delivered was really disgusting. 10 pieces of old original chicken where the skin had come away from the chicken meat, the meat away from the bone and was hard and oily. This is as a result of chicken that has been exposed to oven heat for far too long. This is product they would not dare serve in store to face to face customers obviously because of the immediate complaints they would receive.
This complaint has ben submitted to KFC Head Office. It has been going on for far too long so they are either unaware of this or are complicit with this branch adopting this policy.
I have been living here for 9 years and used to be a regular customer at this store. I hadn't ordered from this branch for over one year because I know how poor the food is when delivered and how consistent they are in adopting in this policy.
One again, it was no surprise to have received disgusting poor quality food.

Then i see they are making everything once it is ordered, so burgers are being made on order, wraps the lot. Fair enough but the speed in which these workers are making the meals was utter rubbish. It looked as if they had all the time in the world. Appauling service from the get go. It took them almost 15 minutes to even take my order. Once i received received my order ( 1x zinger burger box meal + 1x zinger tower box meal) i had asked for sauce. Which the lady gave. I the. Asked for forks/spoons and was told that she has already put it into the bag. So asking her and her telling me this i didnt bother checking. So now took it away. Come to eat our meals. And what i saw was worse than disappointing. Firstly looking for the so called forks/spoons that the woman said she had put into the bag had magically disappeared, the fries were waayy overcooked which took any flavour it had away from it.
