Get the sweet chilli chicken - it packs a nice peppery kick. you can smell it as soon as you step into the shop. On another visit i tried their chicken katsu curry - this is a must-try., lovely fruity /chilli flavours, curry with a Japanese twist! The chicken is nice and crispy and goes well with the sauce. Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. They do pack out the container, which is rare for a takeaway. I didn't like this branch at all, they walk around casually holding a simmering pan of sauce as if it isn't a safety hazard and as if they're at home. The sushi didn't have an expiry date on it and the raw tuna tasted like raw meat or something it was atrocious. Another thing that bothered me is that they had the pork next to the chicken and prawns and on the other side there was the vegetarian tofu and there really wasn't any cleanliness or sanitation between the different foods and the customer service was quite frankly terrible. Very friendly staff. I normally get my food from Kokoro in Kingston, but was passing next to this one, so popped in. Food was impeccable. I had chicken katsu curry for take away and sushi. Chicken in my curry was beyond amazing! I’m used to dry crusty one in Kingston and this one was amazing, not burned, not dry out, just juicy and perfect! Sushi was amazing too.
