Cafe Zizou — Restaurant in London

I ordered a breakfast with "free coffee". Coffee was extremely weak. Sausages were the super-cheap, homogeneous, meat puree ones for people with no teeth. Bacon was about half the width of the type commonly found everywhere else. I was then charged for the coffee (taking my order from £6 to £9). The waiter with the half-beard then argued it was "logical" I should be charged for it, otherwise where's his profit? Apparently only the cheapest coffee on the menu is free with the breakfast but, unless you read that here first, they leave it as a kind of lucky-dip in their favour - if you stumble across the free coffee when you order, lucky you! Otherwise they charge full price for it and they'll keep the free coffee that they advertise comes with the breakfast. I won't...

I would possibly give 6 stars to this place.

A) Great views. Right at the junction of high street and heath road

B) Super fresh food including full breakfast

C) Vegetarian options available for folks who cannot have meat or animal origin products

D) Excellent coffee, freshly squeezed Orange juice, Smoothies....what else do you need?!

E) The warmest owner and staff who will make sure it is a pleasurable experience

Lastly I am a local and have tried the full breakfast across the entire street there. Cafe Zizou is hands down the BEST breakfast and full fare offer place on that street. Don't take my word for it. Try it out yourself!!

A must visit spot for...

A London vistor's perspective....visiting Twickenham for two weeks and last night I just wanted to get out. I walked the streets on a Sunday night at about 5:20 PM and while many places were closed the others were closing at 6. The sign in Zizou's door said 6 ...and 30+ in smaller print. I stood around outside and one of the staff commented after my second look, "Come in, it's an approximate."

Come to find out the "staff" was the owner. We spoke for about 15 minutes about business and life and in the end he stayed open until about 8:00 PM so that I could work.
