Just ten minutes walk from Twickenham train station. Absolutely love this compact eatery serving the most delicious Asian food. Put in our first order here this evening, and came away with a surprisingly delicious array of food… all quality stuff! We had their salt and pepper squid - nicely done, not greasy :: chilli beef - spicy and aromatic :: char koay teow – lovely flat rice noodles with egg and seafood :: their Makan-Makan nasi goreng with chicken strips, prawns, carrots, sweetcorn, beansprouts fried in shrimp paste and chili :: chicken satay with peanut sauce – woah! The silly woman couldn't even be bothered to call us shortly after leaving to let us know. Just placed an order for delivery. They confirmed we were in the free delivery range. Placed order. Then we get a call back 15 minutes later to tell us they can't deliver as we are out of their range. By 0.4 of a mile!! When I explained that perhaps given the last time they could on this occasion just deliver, she didn't have much to say. Won't be going back. Not a wonder they are...
Read moreHave been coming here for a few years now and its such a treat. Hidden little restaurant that you might walk passed if you were not paying attention. It is unassuming and informal, which I love. You can relax inside, dine as though you were at home. The food is amazing. The salt and chili squid, tofu and courgette is amazing ,,,so fresh and tasty. The Rendeng is fab, the Laksa is always a winner, anything from the hawkers menu is delish! Michelle is as lovely as ever....please keep this little local gem going but supporting it...
