Legit Caribbean takeaway hidden at the back of Montego’s Food Market on Wood Green High Road. Opted for the Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and Curry Goat with Rice & Peas. A combination of good quality meat, seasoned and cooked very well. Good size portions too, will be a regular here during my time living in Wood Green.

Ordered 73 meals for our office lunch. This is the second time we have used Mama Gee's for our office party. We had a mixture of Jerk and Stewed Chicken as well as some vegan lunch boxes. All the lunches arrived hot and in their own individual boxes. Every member of staff enjoyed their lunch. Here are some quotes from staff on their lunch G said " lovely lunch", A said " my vegan lunch was lovely ", Y said " lunch was absolutely delicious ", AA said "fabulous meal". The portions in the boxes where excellent with staff very pleasantly surprised with what they received. We had people coming back for seconds of the coleslaw and salad and fighting over who would get the last festival. Some members of staff had never eaten carribean food before and every meal was enjoyed by all. Will definitely be using Mama Gee's for our Black History Month meal again next year and the office will be trying to find a reason not to have to wait another year before ordering again. Would recommend Mama Gee's to...

That.... Was.... AMAZING.

Ordered on Uber Eats (finally!) and everything was perfect. I got the boneless jerk chicken meal which came with rice and salad. It was all delicious. It was grilled jerk chicken taken off the bone and was perfect. The rice was great and had a little drizzle of BBQ sauce on top with just enough spice. The salad was fresh and tasty.

But... The winners were the macaroni cheese and the pattie... I feel insane but next time I'm going to order as many patties and trays of mac cheese that the Uber rider can carry.

If I lived closer I'd be expanding daily from the non stop patties...

Excellent experience! I decided to try Mama Gee based on online reviews, and I'm happy to say they were correct. The Punjabi Samosa Chaat was amazing - I'd eat that every night if I could. The butter chicken, naan, and rice were also quite delicious. I had room for dessert, but unfortunately they did not have my favorite Indian dessert - kheer. Turns out that wasn't a problem. The chef and staff were incredibly friendly, and the chef offered to make me a fresh batch of kheer right then and there (and it did not disappoint!). Well...
