WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!
Officially the worst brunch we've ever had!
Husband and I regularly brunch! This place was awful.
Went on a Saturday. Only a few tables occupied, so before the afternoon rush.
Food took an absolute age to come out and when it did, was absolutely frustrating that it came out cold, sad looking and UNDERCOOKED! See egg for yourself. They need to change the technique! Yolk was overcooked and whites RAW on my steak and eggs! Steak was flavourless and DRY. In fact my whole dish was flavourless. The only flavour was from the salt and pepper I added!
Husband's full English was raw, barely toasted toast, poorly cooked egg, and UNCOOKED bacon!!!!
Both dishes were COLD!!!!
We left pissed off and feeling sick!
They brought me another egg which just escaped being uncooked!
SERVICE WAS PAINSTAKINGLY SLOW! FUNNILY ENOUGH everyone who came after; their food arrived much quicker!!! Not sure why ours was sat there catching dust!
Husband's full English - portion of actual food was pitiful and he was very annoyed about this! More plate noise than actual food! And who serves one egg and one sausage for a full English?! He ordered an extra sausage! Tiny portion otherwise.
Would not recommend at all.
Also, their pricing makes zero sense considering portions. £1.50 extra PER HASH BROWN?!
Overall, really unpleasant experience with food and service. Yes decor is nice, the waitresses are pleasant, but we went to eat, and food did not meet expectations.
They did take my whole meal off the bill, which I appreciate. But, I'd have rather paid and enjoyed a good meal. We came from far out! Cold food just isn't acceptable. And yes, aesthetics are the in thing, and we enjoy this too, but aesthetics shouldn't start replacing actual adult food portions.
Lastly, we felt genuinely unwell after eating here. It took us the rest of the day to feel...

Accepts American Express: This is a convenient payment option for travelers or those who prefer using Amex. Rainbow waffles for kids are too big and unhealthy: This is a subjective point, but it's worth noting for parents with picky eaters or health-conscious children. Toilet needs update: The restrooms could benefit from some renovation or maintenance. Egg and steak is very good value for money: This dish seems to be a popular choice and offers good value for the price. Americano for £2.20 is the best value of coffee on the menu: Coffee lovers will appreciate this affordable option. No kids menu: This might be a drawback for families with young children, as they may need to order from the regular menu. They have a dietary menu offer gluten-free bread: This is a great option for those with dietary restrictions or gluten sensitivities. Overall, Maple Brunch Cafe seems to be a popular spot for a casual breakfast or brunch, with good food, friendly service, and a variety of options to choose from. However, the rainbow waffles for kids might not be ideal for everyone, and the restrooms could use some updating.
The cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The location is convenient, with easy access by...
Read moreREFUSED TO SEAT A DISABLED CHILD.
My wife and 3 children recently attended for lunch as they were planning on being in the area attending the V&A museum.
My 4 year old son, who is in a wheelchair seemed to be hugely problematic. The staff simply stated they could not be seated, despite trying to make a reservation.
As you can imagine a child’s wheelchair is not particularly large and simply replaces a normal table chair.
However the staff continued to refuse seating. We then suggested if the space was an issue, we can either split into two tables. This was rudely shut down with a number of excuses. We then suggested we can sit outside, but again this seemed to be unacceptable.
It became clear this outlet was not willing to entertain any feasible suggestion, they were simply not willing to seat us specifically because of my child in the wheelchair.
Whilst no one is requesting special treatment, you would expect a business to accommodate a disabled child.
I would imagine this is infact illegal as is discriminatory behaviour and would be covered by the equality act!
The staff were rude, blunt and unapologetically suggested we go elsewhere.
At which point we had no option but to try and walk around with 3 young children looking for somewhere to eat, during a busy lunch period.
I would strongly discourage all from supporting such a business. One that seemed more interested In what I can only imagine, is the image of...
