I recently tried Sodo Pizza and was thoroughly impressed by the quality and flavors of their pizzas. I had the pleasure of trying the White Goat pizza, which was a delightful combination of mozzarella, goat cheese, olives, onions, truffle oil, and a drizzle of chili honey, topped with crunchy walnuts. The blend of flavors was exquisite, and each bite was a burst of deliciousness. Additionally, I sampled the Burrata and salsa macha pizza, which was equally delightful. The creamy burrata paired perfectly with the spicy salsa macha, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. For dessert, I indulged in the tiramisu, which had a delightful surprise of Java chip inside, adding a lovely crunch to the creamy texture. The ambience of the restaurant is charming and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal or gathering with friends. I was pleased to learn that Sodo Pizza has multiple outlets across London, including Hammersmith, Clapton, Deptford, Hoxton, Walthamstow, and Bethnal Green, making it easily accessible for pizza lovers citywide. Overall, my experience at Sodo Pizza was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving delicious artisanal pizzas in a cozy setting.

Good pizza, very good service (one waiter to many tables; he didn't get overwhelmed and didn't forget anyone). We shared some olives (very fresh) and I had the vegan 'Mary Jane' pizza; very inventive toppings! Walnuts work surprisingly well! I asked for additional chilli and was expecting to have to pay a few pence more, but was pleasantly surprised to see there were no extra charges. My boyfriend ordered the 'Los Pollos Hernandos' (the daily special) but wasn't as impressed as I was. He said it was decent, but slightly undercooked in the middle. But we both agreed we'd try one of the other locations. We also shard the brownie with ice cream and salted caramel sauce; it was tasty, but nothing to write home about. The stand-out superstars were the cocktails with their homemade ginger beer. My bf got his with whiskey and I got mine with rum (the dark and stormy). The ginger beer isnt overly spiced, and the additional ingredient (we think it's apple juice?) adds a nice zing. And at £7.50 for a double, they're very reasonably priced :) the whole meal came to £24 each, which isn't bad at all!

I stumbled upon a charming little restaurant tucked away from the main street, situated beneath the overground train track, with unit number 266. In London, I hadn't come across such a unique pizza place until I found Sodo. Their menu is concise, the cosy dining room accommodates 50-60 guests, and the ambience caters to a diverse and vibrant crowd. You can witness the passionate chefs at work. I tried the Tomcat pizza, a culinary delight with impeccable dough, and their dessert left me in awe. The attentive staff made it a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it!

We arrived at a busy time, however the waiter was really helpful, took our number and suggested we head next door down the same little back street to Redchurch Brewery and when a table became free he called us and gave a 5 minute notice! Excellent service.

I first had Sodo Pizza in The George & Vulture pub in Shoreditch and always enjoyed it, but hadn't been to a Sodo restaurant before. I'm very pleased to say the pizza was incredible. I had The Wickerman - meaty, cheesy, and the perfect amount of heat. I also had a slice of my partner's Dirty Boy (not a sentence I ever thought I'd write) and that was delicious too. Crisp sourdough crust, the base was foldable, and the tomato base was perfectly sloppy enough.

We topped off the evening with a tiramisu, recommended by the waitress. It was creamy, moist, and soaked in coffee. My only complaint with that is that there wasn't enough of it!

A really nice and relaxed place for a great pizza and a cold Redchurch beer. Blows Franco Manca out of the water. Will 100% be going back, especially as it's so close to home for me.

** My girlfriend has asked that I mention there was perhaps the toppings were a little large on her pizza, but that's a ridiculously niche quarrel to have when everything else was so perfectly on...
