The manager was really helpful (well I think he was the manager as he helped us, then went to serve behind the counter helping with the orders), he went out of his way to help us to use the automatic ordering system, which saved us a lot of time, and he took the time to come back and ask us if everything was OK. The restaurant was quite large and spacious and easy to find somewhere to sit (mind you it wasn't lunch time), and we didn't have to wait too long for the order. The reason I only gave 4 stars and not 5 was there was only one toilet for both men and women, and I mean only one toilet, not one toilet with two or three cubicles, one toilet which consisted of one toilet, one sink, one hand dryer, one baby changing table/pull down shelf, luckily it wasn't busy when I needed to use it, I wouldn't like to be there when needing to urgently go to the loo when it is Busy. UPDATE! There is a toilet upstairs, but it was unusable as it was so disgusting, both urinals were full of wee, one with a tape across it, one cubicle had toilet paper on the floor as well as an empty wine bottle on the floor (see photos) it was so bad I went back to take photos, when I went in, there was a member of staff leaving the toilet with a mop and bucket, he had wiped the floor, hadn't done anything about the urinals or the bottle of wine on the floor. I went back a week later and the urinals were still in the same state. I always thought that Mcdonalds always had the cleanest toilets. Now changing my star rating to 1 star! I live in Brixton, and due to the rain today, I submitted to using a delivery service (no fault allocated to that company). However, as I expected and with the most miminal modicum of hope that it wouldn't be the case, McDonald's royally effed up my order. This is not a one-off with Brixton branch. It's literally been Every. Single. Time. And with the cost of living crisis upon us, I felt even more angry, annoyed, and disrespected by this company who now charge Nandos prices for a bloody burger meal. Me and my ONE child ordered two meals, a snack box (mozzarella bites) and 2 'apple' pies - miraculously one came in chocolate packaging and oh 🫢, was a chocolate pie! That was just one of their multitude of errors. Also, the food was lukewarm at best! Missing and incorrect items. An overcooked fish burger with which I held opposed views on - Do I complain about the burnt crust or the fact it was almost cold? Dilemmas - over a cold, square, essentially fishfinger 🤔.
No answer from the restaurant despite EIGHT ATTEMPTS to speak to a manager by phone. I sadly had to resentfully eat the offerings I paid for whilst trying to motivate my child to think of the 'positives' associated with this pitiful meal. Order from this McDonald's branch at your own risk.

Read morei experienced racism by a white manager (he was not wearing a name badge) yesterday (august 5th at around 12pm) all because i asked for an extra shot because i couldn’t taste the mango flavoured sprite which i had PAID for. the manager proceeded to tell me that if a colleague ( a black woman) gave me the extra shot, she would be fired. I am definitely going to take this further because i can see that there may be unfair treatment amongst black staff members or possibly other ethnic persons when this particular manager is there. During the whole interaction, the staff members were completely silent when the manager started twisting my words and shouting that i wanted free food. ( obviously not the case) which is why i genuinely believe that the coloured staff members may be scared of him. The way he looked at me was so sinister and disgusting. As a manager, even when a customer is not happy, it is your duty to attempt to de-escalate the situation. instead, this manager decided to be incredibly unprofessional and shout over me. As well as shouting in front of customers that i was asking for free food which was a LIE. all i wanted was 1 more shot of the mango so i could taste what i PAID for.
