Memory Box Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in London

Love this cocktail bar, it’s a cute little quirky bar with a fabulous 241 on cocktails, the cocktails are very imaginative and taste superb. The music is great too enjoyable evening had.

My hubby arranged hiring this place for my 40th party, we had sole use of it from 11am- 7pm he decorated it and the staff were so accommodating, they were helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. There were about 80-100 people at my party so hubby catered food which was from the Italian restaurant next door which is owned by same people. Food was delicious everyone enjoyed it! We had a DJ they use regularly who played the music we requested. The atmosphere was amazing the staff were fun joined in dancing and even let me make a cocktail behind the bar. There were kids as it was in the day so they were set up with toys into the corner part of the place nicely tucked away safely. We cannot fault anything the whole day was fantastic everyone enjoyed it and cocktails were flowing all day. Thank you to the whole team on Sat 19th March 2022 you were all amazing I want to do it...

Situated in central Croydon, easy to get to by public transport or cab - they offer 2 for 1 cocktails until midnight ( they are actually decent cocktails too).

Really interesting menagerie of people! Music is good once you've had enough cocktails. (They played Candy when we went, so many people, so many different directions.)

They'll give you a free shot for a decent review but I'm actually writing this from home so this is an honest review and not written after being bribed with alcohol.

Staff are friendly and they know their cocktails.

Now the toilets, the toilets are a bit grim. They're unisex toilets which means boy pee is EVERYWHERE - not the kind of toilets you'd spend time in chatting to a stranger and planning a holiday to Majorca with. I hope you've been working legs because it's a half squat situation so as not to touch anything with your bare skin.

So yeh, 5 stars for the staff 1 star...

I have been an out of this establishment for around 3 years as a place to go when all others are closing or shut for the evening and have a few drinks, last weekend for no apparent reason what so ever one of the bouncers pushed me to the floor with no warning, I found this behaviour to be very dangerous as I was inches away from smacking my head on the bar and causing serious injury also there was no reason explained as to why he pushed me to the floor.. I wasn't even asked to leave after so he must of just felt like it..? I then emailed them to tell them the next day and I was told I would be called and I never heard from them. The bouncers are very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend this place at all.. DJ is crap and plays...
