What an excellent restaurant! It's a little further away from a lot of the restaurants in Croydon's restaurant quarter but well worth seeking out, and it's easy to find. It used to be a branch of Miso but since getting new management who broke free of the chain and went independent , it has gone from strength to strength. Probably my favourite Chinese restaurant now! The food is delicious and well presented and with much reduced MSG levels than other restaurants. A good selection of dishes and something to please everyone. (they do great Kung Po chicken and the Pad Thai is delicious!!!) The staff are caring and attentive, and the prices are good for the great quality they offer. Four oddly long and thin factory-produced fingers of batter (thankfully crunchy but not very appealing otherwise) with prawn tails sticking out of one end appeared. I bit one off in the middle and if I looked very closely at the end I could just see a thin piece of white flesh in the middle. Thai sweet chilli sauce as a dip - really? Is that the best you could come up with? Noodles with vegetable stir-fry came next. The noodles were overcooked and in very short lengths so I couldn't pick them up easily (alla spaghetti). The sauce was a non-descript brownish, almost flavourless and oily liquid. I'm pretty sure though that all the vegetables were fresh not frozen, so that's why two...
