A bit disappointing for me but my fellow eaters had a better experience. I got the humita, the maduro con queso and the tuna and onion soup. So the humble humita was actually the best: delicate flavour with a bit of cheese inside. A very good portion size for the price as well. I also enjoyed the maduro it was nicely caramelised, with the soft cheese a subtle offset. My husband and his friend both enjoyed their expansive meat dishes. My husband did note it wasn’t the best flavour he’s ever had which I’m not surprised, being Ecuadorean myself. Now for the negatives… My glass of chicha tasted like SOY sauce. My husband agreed… it definitely WASN’T the chicha I had in Peru and Colombia. This is definitely my fault but the huge bowl of tuna and onion soup was too… fishy. More like a boullabaisse. There is an extensive weekend menu that unfortunately wasn’t available Thursday night so I want to come back for the prawns in coconut sauce. On service, it wasn’t great, like in many places in the U.K. The lovely Brazilian waitress had, like it seems every server in Europe has, tunnel vision, and cannot cope with multiple tables at once. That said it was quite busy last night and it seems staff is limited.

This is a hidden gem and never thought there is an authentic Ecuadorian restaurant around London area. I am quite surprised with the selection food here. It does associate with some Spanish influence which I think could be because not many people are aware of Ecuador food and to include Spanish to give a bit variety selection of food. Restaurant felt really local, lots people speaking Spanish. Could tell probably local Ecuadorian go there for food. They do really good stew soup for sure could see people ordering a bowl of it. Very good for cold winter! Mixed grill and the seafood mix are some of the most ordered dishes. Overall, great restaurant and highly recommend to others. Loving the interior of the restaurant as well! Colourful and lively!

Every so often I always come back ro Miko. It is always tge flavour of Latin America that brings me back to let my palate keeping the memory of my hometown food. The food is always very tasty, elaboration series and somedays the chefs is more generous and enthusiastic thank others, but in general there is a good variety of plates. The last time I brought some friends, the waitress was new, with a very poor knowledge of the food, so she was unable to introduce the menu and recommend us some dishes. On another side, there was a live music, and being such a small place, it can be very loud whilst you ate trying to speak with others in your table. Overall, it is a good restaurant. As I mentioned, I am sure I'll be back

Awful experience. The person at the till did not speak English at all, it was very difficult to order even by pointing to dishes. Could not ask about the ingredients for the same reason. We sat at a table, which was a great effort as the tables and chairs asre squashed in a way that only one of us could sit first then pull the table towards them so the other person would squeeze in. Eventually the food served was lukewarm. Tea and coffee ordered was in very small cups and only three quarters full. Was difficult to pay as well with the same person who was not speaking English. Minutes later both of us who dined there (we chose two different dishes), ended up not feeling well, with stomach ache and diarrhoea. Surely the food was not fresh served seemed prepared in advance and not even heated properly. Regretted every penny spent there. Would give zero stars if i could. Btw hygiene/food rating was 3 a year ago... well, not a place i...

The place has been changing but not for good , the daily menu used to be great value, great quality and tasty. The price has increased from 9£ to 15£ for lunch and sadly the quality of the food has decreased. This place is turning out to be more for other types of customers as the owner seems to be more focused on turning the restaurant into a bar with awful loud music or noise as it is not even a good atmosphere to spend time and eat something as the volume is so high. Very poor service by the waiters or even the owner offering really poor service being more focus on tiktok rather than offering great food and a nice atmosphere for the client and then charging service charge without making it optional also food portions are not consistent the dish is different every time and some of them are so overpriced offering frozen seafood with a simple salad and a yellow rice...
