Lovely food, the staff are friendly and really sweet and the coffee was good. The menu is full of solid choices and the portions were a good size. It is alway busy and is definitely a locals favourite. They have the front tables, inside and a garden. High chairs readily available. They do take away for coffees too. Be warned, if you’re a purest for coffee they do serve their drinks in glass (not the best, I know) but they are still a decent latte.

Excellent coffee and generous portions. Delicious breakfast. For my third or fourth visit, I tried the chorizo and avocado burger. Rather than this being a kind of hashed chorizo formed into a patty, it was more like a sausage sandwich made with chorizo. In any case it was very tasty indeed. Also can confirm that the salt-beef bagel is tasty. And the Welsh rarebit is also great. We've never left hungry

Thrilled to discover this local gem. We have just moved in the area and this place just grow on us the moment we walked in. Excellent breakfast with fresh and quality ingredients, good coffe and last but not least, this place has the most friendly and welcoming staff we've seen across London. Thank you for being around the corner 🤗 and we are looking forward to come back soon.

Food was ok, but the service was awful even though the place was almost empty; the staff seemed disinterested and bored, and quite unfriendly. Noone said hello when we entered or explained we had to order at the bar, so we sat and waited for ages. When they brought our drinks they had run out of orange juice and instead of telling us, weirdly decided to mix orange and apple together and told us as they served is that they hoped it was ok. Once the food arrived, instead of getting us cutlery the waitress chose that moment to ask a table of 6 if they wanted to move so moved tables around whilst we sat with our food in front of us and no way to eat it. She then seemed annoyed when we asked for cutlery a second time.

Very odd overall, the service means I wouldn't go back, which is a shame...

We have heard great things about the food, but had a very poor experience today. We went for a brunch this morning and ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and eggs on muffin. Our order was apparently lost. After 35 mins of no activity we went to check and they said oh no! Still 20 mins later when nothing arrived, we went again to ask and apparently no one had looked into it. So after an hour of waiting, we finally got our food, and by then our little one was upset, hungry and cranky and we weren’t happy either. The food was OK and someone came up to us to apologise, asking if we would like free drinks for the delay! Well No Thanks! Feels like the place is being run by amateurs for now. Don’t think we will be going back...

Please bring the old menu back. It used to be my favourite cafe in the area and would go there as much as I could, but recently the menu has been changed to more of a take away lunch room option. Lots of brunch options (especially the delicious goats cheese flatbread and English breakfast) are missing, which is such a shame. There still seems to be enough staff to take care of it all, so I’m really hoping to bring it back, because we were here at lunch time on Saturday and it was basically empty. With the lovely staff, delicious coffee and smoothies, I really hope to return soon again to something that looks more like...
