We recently had the pleasure of dining at a Nepalese restaurant, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality added so much to our dining experience. They were more than happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations, making us feel right at home.
The food was a true delight. Every dish showcased the rich, bold flavors that Nepalese cuisine is known for. The spices were perfectly balanced, creating a symphony of flavors in every bite. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the presentation was beautifully done. Each course was served with care and attention to detail.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely, with traditional decor that added to the authenticity of the experience. The cozy, inviting atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
There really wasn’t a single downside to our visit. The service was prompt, the food was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. If you’re looking to enjoy authentic Nepalese cuisine with top-notch service, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to return!

Apparently the South Ealing branch closed one of the partners retired. However in wanting to keep up the Monty’s tradition they opened in Northfields to bring a modern twist. The service was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble and one staff member we recognised from South Ealing which was nice.
The poppadom chutneys consisted of three standard ones and three spicy ones which was great. The food was excellent too and I’d highly recommend the shashlik super. Everything was absolutely spot on and it’s great the Monty’s tradition continues. The price was fairly reasonable for the area too.
I’d advise booking a table though as people were being turned away. It was great to see it busy and it looks like they’re doing well already. Hopefully it lasts for many...
Read moreA real hidden gem in the heart of Ealing! Montys Nepalese Cuisine is one of those rare places that feels truly authentic and loved by locals. This family-run restaurant has been around since the 1980s — and it’s easy to see why.
The food is absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best Indian/Nepalese meals I’ve ever had — and their Chicken Masala is simply unforgettable. Full of flavour, perfectly balanced spices, and so comforting.
The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the service is warm, friendly, and attentive. Prices are very affordable, especially for the quality of food they serve. What I also love about Montys is that it’s not a touristy spot — it’s mostly locals who know and appreciate good food.
If you’re in Ealing and craving Indian or Nepalese cuisine, Montys is a must-visit....
