Takaa Tak Indian Restaurant - Ealing — Restaurant in London

I’m a very big fan of Taaka tak. I always go to the original Hounslow restaurant or the hayes one. So I thought I’d try the Ealing one. BIG MISTAKE!! First of all for a new restaurant the place looked dirty, unorganised and dated. The staff had no clue or manners. Repeatedly got our order wrong. Being vegetarian and never eaten meat they served us chicken!!!! Luckily I asked or we couldn’t have put chicken in our mouths. And they had the nerve to charge us for it as well.

Food was poor. Too much salt. Not enough spice and definitely not the normal Taaka tak standard. I mean I had to ask the lady 4 times for a glass of water! That’s just poor customer service.

Indian gem hidden in Northfield Avenue, Ealing. Great Indian food prepared as per your preference. I have been to Takatak Hayes, and their food was not that good. But the food here was very good, much better than I anticipated. We tried a variety of veg and non vegetarian starters, and everything was good. Unfortunately, we were so full after having the starters that we couldn't try the mains. The price of the food is good and so are the portions. The drinks are also very well priced. Just finished having some Punjabi Samosa Chaat & Chicken Hakka Noodles. I don’t usually leave reviews but Takaa Tak has impressed me with their customer service skills. Their food was mouth watering and I can’t recommend this place enough. They accommodated to my tasting needs & gave me recommendation of foods to try. The area is clean & I thanked the chef’s for the food made. They had a big smile on their face which was heart warming. 5 stars is not enough to express how delicious and tasty their food is.
