Moulin Grill Wembley — Restaurant in London

Staying for our 1st time at Wembley and tried Moulin as it was local and highly rated and boy does this deserve that high rating. We went here thinking it would be a little cafe (which it is) and we would have a decent small breakfast... We were definitely wrong. After seeing their large menu selection the missus had the Moulin Special breakfast and I went for the Homemade steal and kidney pie. The breakfast was large, well cooked and decent meat not cheap bacon and sausage undercooked like you get in some well known pubs we could mention. The homemade pie made me skeptical as most homemade pies are clearly store bought but this huge chunk of pie had the most tender pieces of steak and huge pieces of kidney in a lovely gravy, soft as a cloud pastry (even the thick crust wasn't hard and overcooked) and all the veg accompanying it was soft and tasty. All in it was the best surprise of out trip so far to expect a small decent breakfast and to end up with food that puts massive chains to shame.

Amazing food. My mother visits from Wiltshire once a month on a Saturday to see me and my bf. Sometimes bringing my Nephew, Sister or other family members. We ALWAYS start our day with breakfast here. Its hearty, great portion size, super tasty and great value for money. Its a great way to start our day give us energy and keep us full and going all day.

Its actually become a tradition in my family to take photos of our breakfast and taunt the people back home who couldnt make the day out and are missing out on the breakfast, by sending them the photos of our food and what they're missing out on.😅

The servers are always so kind lovely and happy to see you and the owner now recognises us, and my mother, and always without fail he will come out to have a chat and ask how she is and make an effort. Hes amazing.

The Atmosphere is great everyone in the cafe is always so lovely, chatty and welcoming that you wouldnt know you were in London at all 🤣

Honesty one of the most comfortable places ive ever visited and one of the best cooked breakfasts I've ever had!...

This place has great food and at a reasonable price, always served hot and prepared fresh. I am told it is all sourced from the local area buy the owner and his son, who are often seen talking to the customers. Very friendly and likeable staff who take your order with a smile. It's no wonder they have a regular client base who visit, (including myself) and they are also usually busy. Good food cooked with that home cooking vibe, and followed by apple pie and custard, or one of the other old favourites which are served here. The only small issue which I do understand why it is this way, is they are only open till lunch time on Saturday and closed on Sundays, unless there is an event. This stops me visiting as much as I would like, And they are a cash only establishment. But now another cash point has been installed a few doors down, it's not a major issue. These things are so minor and not worth losing a star for such a great little...
