Wembley Tandoori - Bar and Indian Nepalese Restaurant — Restaurant in London

Service was -5/10 and food a 2/10 Food was alright. Been to better places for cheaper in Wembley area. The service was terrible! She kept speaking in her language infront of me - personally I found that very disrespectful as while she was saying this she was looking at me and my friends. Whilst ordering i kept miss pronouncing the names of the food and she kept correcting me in a rude way however I took this very funny until my friends told me how rude she was being after she left. The food is not worth the money. The panner chilly was not good at all. And the samosa chaat was MEDIOCRE. We asked one of the girls if the fizzy drinks were refillable as the first one we got was in a random Coca-Cola glass with 0 gas and a couple of ice cubes for £3.15??? the lady said YES - so we all asked for more refills. Comes the bill and nearly £25 on drinks with no gas or nothing. One of my friends asked for tap water and she had to send the glass back as it STANK. She had a very bad attitude when I told her about this and talked in her language again giving dirty looks. After this she even thought we was gonna pay for service charge HA. HA. Arrived to the restaurant to find it very bland and sparsely decorated. Waiter took my order couldn’t speak much English. Had to explain 5 times what I wanted. Then after around a 30 min wait they bought out my popadums, starter and main course all together at the same time. I had to explain that I cannot possibly be expected to eat everything at the same time so they proceeded to remove the main course until a little later. Then as soon as I’d finished they proceeded to offer me the bill. I explained that I hadn’t decided to pay yet as I may still want another drink. A short while later I asked for the bill which was quite high I thought for a single person £40. I got up to leave and one of the other waiters accused me of not paying!!!! Lucky I had asked for a receipt (I don’t normally bother) so I went back to my seat and retrieved my receipt, showed it to the second waiter and told him and all the customers that we’re queuing for their takeaways that the food was shyte and the service was even worse and that I’d never be back again EVER !!!! The service was not up to mark. The front of house staff were not trained for customer service, the food took about 40 minutes to arrive when they said it’ll only take 10-15 minutes when we ordered and on top of that the pilau rice was cold, there was raw chicken on top of the momos, the balti chicken pieces were very small and the portion was very less, the butter naan had very less butter and was very dry and last but not least the keema naan had the meet falling out of the naan from every piece. All the five items were very poor in quality, quantity and taste. The portion of all items were very less for the price and the restaurant was expensive.

I’m a foodie and not a picky eater. I have never given a restaurant a bad review before. This is the first. I’m never going there again. It was a waste of money. Oh and I forgot to mention that my napkin was dirty and I found hair on it.
