A lovely little local cafe that serves beautiful coffee and delicious banana bread. Unfortunately was enjoying coffee/cakes with family on Monday 8th Jan 24 and everyone in the cafe was asked to leave at 1.30 (busy lunchtime) so the barista/waiter could have his lunch break!!! We had paid for coffee and cakes like others but was all politely asked to leave....and it was snowing outside. Never happened to me before in all my years of dinning out!!! Still can't believe it.
Mouse Tail Coffee doesn’t just serve coffee—it serves character. Tucked away near Chancery Lane, this café blends artisanal brews with a laid-back charm that feels refreshingly unpolished. Brownies & pastries – rich, indulgent, and ideal for a mid-afternoon lift
Most drinks are served in paper cups—even for dine-in—which adds a casual, grab-and-go feel, though some might miss the...

Not wanting to stir and stir to try and dissolve sugar granules in my cold coffee just to have it stay bitter, I ordered a chai instead- but they only had the smaller espresso lids when I got to the end of the counter, so I had to go lidless.
My Mrs got a matcha latte, and we left as we were sightseeing nearby. It had clumps of matcha powder in the bottom and was not stirred thuroughly. Nice shop, but needs more attention to supply...
