I’m absolutely appalled by service at this Nando’s. Absolutely awful customer service, no customer care. Extremely unprofessional staff who don’t seem to have any idea of what they are doing. We ordered on Nando’s website to be delivered via Deliveroo. Our order was meant to arrive at 20:45 at the latest. Called the restaurant and was informed that the food had been handled to the driver. Another 10 minutes passed and nothing. Called again to find out that there was a problem with Deliveroo and the order was being made again! Another 20 minutes later called AGAIN to find out that Deliveroo informed the restaurant that I had requested a refund (WHICH I HADNT!!!) and the food was ready and waiting for a driver and I should call Deliveroo customer service and request a drive to pick up (!!!!). Called the whats an even worse CS to find out that Nando’s had requested a cancellation/refund of my food and no driver could be sent. Called Nando’s again and all I heard was the same story - blame shifting and no drivers!!!
I felt compelled to write this review because in several other occasion our food was late (and the excuse? “We wanted make some fresh chips for you” 🙄), staff was rude, food took forever to come, machine switched off and couldn’t refill drinks - not even water! And yet I kept coming back because it was convenient, nearby and the quality of the food was always great and better than Finchley LP. After tonight I’m done....
Read moreHad a very bad takeaway last visit. Food was cold. Complained and got a replacement today. It was just really awful yet again. Rock hard burger buns like biscuits, and cold chips yet again. Went back to show food to staff and manager was not happy. Quite standoffish. He said one was hard but the other was not. Fact, both were like biscuits. But, one was much harder then the other. He said they had not been defrosted? He made the meal again and made the assistant watch while I checked the food before leaving. I checked one burger only as did not want to open all food to go cold. Got home, again. One burger was ok. The other was hard like the previous ones on the bottom. This time however, the chips were hot. I ate the chips and corn, and binned most of the burgers. The new veggie burgers are no way as nice as the previous ones. The manager on duty today. Needs to have customer service skills. Must look at customer when spoken to. Very abrupt and disinterested. Too absorbed by his phone/gadgets. I will not be returning for yet another disaster meal. Read moreI came in to get my lunch for takeaway and the "manager" (Piotr I believe was his name) asked me to wear a face mask before he took my order. I've come into this Nandos many times since they have been open and every time a person has told me to wear a face mask I have told them I am exempt, because of my asthma condition. These people have understood clearly my exemption and taken my order. Piotr insisted I must wear a face mask otherwise he will not serve me. He had a plastic screen in front of him which easily was protecting him, but he still insisted a must wear a face mask. I told him I was exempt, he didn't care and didn't bother listening. Once I told him my rights and why I was exempt etc, he pretended that he didn't hear me even though I told him 4 times that I do not require to wear a face mask. He made me very anxious and I felt very uneasy to the point I nearly had an asthma attack. I will be pushing this even further with the Nandos complaint department so this does not reoccur for anyone else visiting Nandos in North Finchley High Road....
