I have to give a 1star rating otherwise I cannot post my review.
Usually a good experience in branches up and down the country - this is the 2nd time I've come to this particular branch - 1st time the drinks machine was swarming with flies and the management at the time was hell bent on me purchasing cola instead of taking it from the dispensers (how inconsiderate after highlighting their health and safety issue)
Tonight, I braved it again, to walk into what I would consider to be a busy night. I waited close to half an hour to get seated (no apology #1). Was a table for 2 which was in-situ of a cramped arrangement. I went to order my food at the counter and was met by a very "overworked/tired" assistant. I placed my order with a very direct and specific way as to how I would like my chicken cooked (VERY well done), she gave me some attitude alluding to that she knows how it is supposed to be done. I know it can be a pain sometimes when food is asked to be done in specific way, in my case all I need was the chicken to be veery well cooked (which I was prepared to wait a few minutes longer for). I placed my order for drinks (1 x bottomless & 1 x water). She presented me with 1 glass for the bottomless drink and told me the water glasses had run out and she will bring to my table when they are washed (no apology #2).
I waited, and waited .... and waited. My companion arrived and still no glass. At this point, I was setting the table (with cutlery, napkins, etc) and noticed no side plates were available. I asked an assistant for one, and again, I was told someone would bring it over (I do appreciate that it is busy, but by now it was slowing down). Half an hour has now passed since ordering and now I have been on the premises for no less than an hour to get food. STILL NO FOOD.
Anyway, food arrives, chicken not cooked right (as per the assistant's knowledge and skill). The other person's plate was presented and was somewhat shy of fries which he nicely asked for a top up - spent close to £40 for 2 meals and it was frowned upon to add a few more. The manager was then called to resolve the issue (I assumed that she was briefed and her mission was to support her co-worker's stance).
She came over and her attitude was already felt by both of us where we "knew" that she would not meet the needs and expectations of us, the customer. (no apology #3), no apology for the poor hospitality experienced thus far, causing rise to upset to an already hangry customer just wanting a few more fries from his shy portion. She then decided that she doesn't want to be spoken to in which her manner was now the focus and insisted that she will not do any thing about the food situation. Again, no apology!!!
So, expecting us to roll over and be quiet she then threatened to call the non-existent security to kick us out.
Comes back with her tail between her legs (knowing full well that there is no security), she now presents us with her intention to call the police - the same police who do not turn up for shoplifting or burglary (smh).
I eventually decided that the lack of love for the food and hospitality had turn me off my food and lost my appetite... SHE REFUNDED ME FOR THE FOOD LEFT ON MY PLATE (less tiny portion of the fries I ate whilst waiting for my undercooked food to be made right).
The worst experience I have ever had in ONE branch of many that I have eaten at in the UK....

He took the time to explain the menu in detail, making sure I understood all the options and even provided helpful recommendations based on my preferences. His knowledge about the dishes and sauces was impressive, and it really helped me make an informed decision.
Throughout my meal, Riz consistently checked on me to ensure everything was to my liking. He anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, promptly refilling my drink and bringing extra napkins without me having to request them. His attentiveness and efficiency were truly remarkable.
What truly impressed me about Riz was his ability to handle a busy restaurant with grace and composure. Despite the high volume of customers, he remained calm and focused, never letting his attention waver. He maintained a positive and friendly demeanor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone.
Riz's exceptional customer service skills truly elevated my dining experience. His genuine passion for his work and dedication to providing an exceptional experience for every customer was evident throughout my visit. It's clear that he takes pride in his role and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Our visit to this Nando's started off promising with a friendly and helpful waiter who greeted us. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended.
The food service was completely disorganised. Despite being at the same table, our meals arrived at completely different times. The first meal arrived about 15 minutes after ordering, but shockingly, the final meal took an hour to reach the table — and only after we questioned staff multiple times. Even worse, the final meal had apparently been sitting on the shelf for over 40 minutes, with one waiter mentioning something was missing. When we raised concerns again, the waiter couldn’t even see our order on the system until we showed the receipt, after which the meal was brought over — cold and incomplete.
We were offered to have the meal replaced, but understandably, we didn’t want to wait another 20-30 minutes. We requested replacement chips, but the fryer visibly rolled her eyes at the request, which was completely unprofessional.
To top it off, the chicken breast was severely overcooked, burnt on one side and so dry it crumbled when cutting into it — comparable to eating the Sahara Desert.
Throughout all of this, the manager’s attitude was dismissive, showing little to no interest in addressing the issues and avoiding responsibility altogether.
