Very friendly staff who were warm and welcoming, we decided to go for a set Lunch - 3 courses for £17.50 (great value) and added a side of Focaccia and a bottle of Custoza white wine… the focaccia was thick and fluffy with a wonderfully crisp crust and the wine crisp with just the right amount of acidity - however, the wine was warm at the table, it had to sit in the holder with ice to get cold. To start the 3 courses we went for the Winter Vegetable Minestrone with pesto and Sardines on Toast with white onions, golden raisins, pine nuts and olive oil - both of which were very flavoursome, well presented and cooked with the presto being a great accompaniment to the minestrone. No spoon was provided with the soup so my husband had to request this… and we were given 2 for some reason. In addition the table was not wiped between the starter and main despite lots of crumbs from the focaccia and water that had dripped from the base of the wine bottle as there was no cloth provided with the bottle of wine. For the mains I had Rigatoni cacio e pepe which was delicious with a deep flavour, decent amount of sauce and spot on al dente. My husband had the Ravioli of winter greens with a chilli & garlic crumb - this on the other hand was not very good, the ravioli was only warm in temperature and rather dry with the large amount of crumb, and far too much chilli within the crumb which overpowered the dish and was too hot for him… I finished it on his behalf, I’m a big fan of hot / spicy food but it was too much for me and was unnecessary for a pasta dish. The pasta itself was well made on both dishes though. The Green salad with shallots and herbs that came with each dish was delicious and was the highlight of the main. For dessert we both had the Salted Caramel Ice Cream which was creamy and silky, a lovely way to finish the meal. The lunch was still incredibly good value, despite the issues, and we would return as it’s always worth giving places a...

Very disappointing considering the rating on Google.

The staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the service. Furthermore, the atmosphere and the three starters we had were really great.

However, the rest was not so good. The one drink we ordered came after the starters had finished, but tasted great. Most importantly, because after all this is a pasta bar, the pasta itself was very underwhelming. My friend ordered the ravioli with ricotta, which he found to be lacking of taste (among everything it lacked garlic, which was on the description) and his sauce was very watery. I ordered the papardelle with beef and ragu. The beef was exquisite although only one very small piece and some shreds in the sauce. The sauce itself was a bit watery and finally, the papardelle were overcooked and stuck together, as if they had been left in the strainer a bit too long. Even the sauce did not help in their separation.

What annoyed me was that the menu suggested two people should share three mains. In my opinion, this is a very bad sign. That means the restaurant knows that the portions are too small and they deliberately do that because they want you to buy more. It feels like bad etiquette. And indeed, we were two individuals who after sharing three starters and each having their own main, left a bit hungry. If someone is vegetarian and the other isn't, or if you don't want to change flavours in the middle of your meal by having half of another dish, then this 3 dishes for 2 doesn't...

My recent visit to Notto was an absolute delight, and I can't help but share my wonderful experience. The highlight of my meal was the exquisite ravioli with pumpkin – a culinary masterpiece that was truly to die for. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a delightful journey for the taste buds.

Equally impressive was the focaccia bread, which surpassed all expectations and held its own as a standout dish. The texture, aroma, and taste were second to none, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall dining experience.

Ieva, the manager at Notto, deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. She took care of our needs with a genuine warmth and attentiveness that elevated the entire dining experience. Her professionalism and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction were truly commendable.

What stood out beyond the delicious food and attentive service was the cohesive and friendly team at Notto. The staff members were consistently smiley, and their teamwork was evident throughout our visit. It created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like valued guests.

Overall, Notto left a lasting impression on me, thanks to its delectable cuisine, the outstanding service provided by Manager Ieva, and the harmonious teamwork of the entire staff. I look forward to returning to savor more culinary delights and experience the hospitality that sets...

In an extremely convenient location in Piccadilly which serve surprisingly good Italian food with very affordable price. Definitely a hidden spot (in a very good location) The carpaccio of beef is so fresh and delicious, matches very well with the rockets, parmigiano, etc. The tomato starter is also surprisingly good as the tomato is very sweet. We absolutely love the pappardelle with short ribs. The portion is very generous, both the pappardelle and the short ribs. The pasta is cooked al dente, right temperature. The short ribs is extremely tender! And again very generous portion. The sauce is matched to the pappardelle so well, you just cant stop eating it. The tiramisu is also a good portion and the taste is about right. Personally think it is slight sweet, but some people do prefer it sweet. Honourable mention to the superb service from the team! I must say this is one of the best service i have had in the UK. The team are very cautious with all the details and i received very good care from the beginning to the end. Not to mention my partner has accidentally spilled her drink, and the team has responded very quickly from cleaning, and offering another drink for free. I am really impressed from the service to the food and the entire dining experience. Definitely deserve another visit.
