We travelled down from North Yorkshire for an event so we thought we'd go for dinner beforehand. After a mountain of research (we're massive foodies) we came across this place. What a gem! I have attached the receipt for reference. To start - advertised as a sausage platter wich suggests atleast 2 different types of sausage. It was not. 2 of the same small smoked sausages is what we got. They were very tasty but the menu was misleading. The other starter was the brisket balls. Again, tasty and the meat was lovely and soft but they used the cheap breadcrumbs to coat. Makes for a very hard, tasteless crust. Such a shame. If they used panko breadcrumbs as an alternative they would have been spot on. Mains - the pork bbq ribs were lovely. Really tender and smoky flavour throughout the meat. Portion was alittle small for the cost and a few chips to make it into a full main wouldn't cost them the earth and would improve the experience. The beef shortrib was fantastic, again; flavour and tenderness of the meat was amazing. Achieving such depth of smoky flavour throughout meat, not just on the outside layer is very difficult to achieve but these guys have done it! Due to the cut it is quite a fatty peice but has pocket of succulent meat so its no biggy. Again, if they included a few chips to make this a full main meal would equal to a perfect meal. We were able to order chips as a side at an additional cost but as iv said before this is not a cheap meal out so once you add sides each, the price racks up very fast. We ordered the Mexican corn as a side and asked how many peices of corn on a cob was in a portion. She said 4 peices. Which we thought for the price was fair enough. But when they came out it was infact half, a full corn on a cob cut into 4 very small triangles making for a very bizzare look and ÂŁ6 for HALF a corn on the cob is extreme. The flavour was good but we did feel shortchanged in the corn department. Overall we were very happy with our meal and left satisfied. The service was great. The lady who served us was polite and attentive. I was disappointed to see that a compulsory service charge of 12.5% is added onto the final bill. Personally I dont like having my hand forced. We always leave a tip for the waiting staff. Some larger than others depending on their service. As we were very happy with the overall experience we had already discussed leaving a ÂŁ20 tip for our waitress. But seeing the compulsory tip left made me uncomfortable so instead i just paid the bill with the compulsory amount applied. No extra. We will be back again for the lovely food and hope that the chef may give these small snags a thought when he next reviews the menu and kitchen GP. Apart from a few small things that are nothing major, all the chefs; you should be very proud of what you served. The meat was a triumph!

I must say, I thoroughly enjoy dining out, and I have to admit, this restaurant has by far the best customer service. A huge thank you to Dream, Amina, and the manager, Hamed (forgive me if I got the spelling wrong). Recently, I took my daughters to London for a birthday dinner, leaving me to have a meal on my own. I stumbled upon a nearby restaurant and I'm so glad I chose BB. Despite dining alone, they made me feel incredibly welcome, engaging me in friendly chats throughout. I ordered a salad and half chicken—it was super tasty and surprisingly filling! Delicious food and lovely company? Can’t ask for more. At one point, I mentioned my age, which they couldn't guess. When I shared that my birthday was coming up the following Saturday, I asked for the bill, but to my surprise, they insisted I stay put, presented me with a small birthday dessert, and even played a birthday tune. It was such a delightful experience—heartwarming and just so thoughtful. I will definitely return with my whole family. Originally, I had planned to celebrate my birthday there, but the weather was so nice that I ended up having a BBQ at home instead. Nevertheless, I will be back for sure. Thank you for going above and beyond when you didn't have to.

OK then, last night after a couple of beers in Vagabond we decided we wanted to eat to Mowgli, but upon arrival the que was out the door. So, turning around we noticed a new restaurant, Bliss Bite. So new in fact that they did not have a menu up in the window. We peeked inside and looked at the menu and saw that it was a smoked meat establishment. We decided to give it a try. The smiling lady seated us and came back with two bowls of HUGE olives and small garlic bread squares on our table while we looked at the comprehensive menu. My eye quickly found the ‘smoked sausage platter’ as a starter. Win #1 (see photo) Then I eyeballed the ribs. Win #2 (see photo) My friends ordered the burger & half chicken, and we also ordered the second cheapest wine (Perdido Tempranillo). Win #3 My god. The food is stunning! The drink is stunning, even the ‘tap water’ is stunning (must be filtered or something). The owner walked up & we had a chat. They had only been open two days! Brilliant staff. Everything was amazing. Their version of smoked food is exceptional. Totally five stars from all three of us. When enough people hear about this place, you will have to book. 100% recommend. We’ll be back. Thank you Bliss Bite!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bliss Bite Barbecue on Charlotte Street in London, and I can't rave enough about the experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service from Ahmad, who made our visit truly memorable.

We started our meal with the Mix Starters, which was a fantastic introduction to their menu. The chicken wings were outstanding—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. The chicken tenders were equally delightful, perfectly breaded and incredibly tender. The mac & cheese bites were a creamy, cheesy delight, while the jalapeño poppers had a nice kick that complemented the other starters beautifully. The hand-cut chips were crispy and golden, served alongside a refreshing coleslaw that balanced the flavours perfectly.

Next up was the Smoked Brisket, which truly stole the show. This tender, juicy brisket had been slow-cooked for an incredible 18 hours, smoked with a blend of hickory and oak wood. It was served with their signature BBQ sauce, house-made pickles, and pickled chillies. The brisket was so soft and flavorful that it practically melted in my mouth—definitely one of the best I've ever tasted!

We also enjoyed the Half Chicken, which was succulent and packed with flavour. Slow-smoked with their Texas-style rub, it delivered rich, smoky notes that made each bite a joy.

Finally, we indulged in the Smashed Burger, featuring double smashed aged beef patties topped with American cheese, pickles, diced onions, mayo, ketchup, and their homemade mustard. It was a satisfying and delicious end to our meal.

Overall, the food at Bliss Bite Barbecue was fantastic, and with Halal options available, it caters to a wide range of dietary preferences. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. We will definitely be back for another round of these delectable dishes!

If you're in London and craving barbecue, I highly recommend Bliss Bite Barbecue—it's an experience you won’t...

When I visited Bliss Bite, what impressed me the most was the perfect combination of excellent food quality and the professional service from the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in a special and welcoming environment. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, patiently explaining the menu and even offering suggestions tailored to my taste, which was genuinely helpful. The quality of the food was exactly what I expected, perhaps even better! Everything I ordered was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great attention to detail. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and it was clear that high-quality ingredients were used. The timing of the food service was also spot on , neither rushed nor slow, just perfectly paced. Their American style dishes were executed wonderfully. The drinks and desserts also completed my experience. From the interesting cocktail menu, I chose the Bliss Mule, which was refreshing and fragrant. The blend of ginger’s kick with the other cocktail ingredients was perfectly balanced and added a special touch to my meal. For dessert, I had the Roasted Fig Tartlet, which was not only visually stunning but also delicious. The combination of roasted figs and the crisp tart pastry, along with the smooth and well-balanced cream, was the perfect finish to my meal. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into perfecting the dessert. The delightful atmosphere, flawless service, American-style dishes, and excellent drinks and desserts made my experience at Bliss Bite truly exceptional. I’m sure that the next time I’m looking for a great meal in a professional yet welcoming environment, I’ll choose this...
