We travelled down from North Yorkshire for an event so we thought we'd go for dinner beforehand. After a mountain of research (we're massive foodies) we came across this place. What a gem! I have attached the receipt for reference. To start - advertised as a sausage platter wich suggests atleast 2 different types of sausage. It was not. 2 of the same small smoked sausages is what we got. They were very tasty but the menu was misleading. The other starter was the brisket balls. Again, tasty and the meat was lovely and soft but they used the cheap breadcrumbs to coat. Makes for a very hard, tasteless crust. Such a shame. If they used panko breadcrumbs as an alternative they would have been spot on. Mains - the pork bbq ribs were lovely. Really tender and smoky flavour throughout the meat. Portion was alittle small for the cost and a few chips to make it into a full main wouldn't cost them the earth and would improve the experience. The beef shortrib was fantastic, again; flavour and tenderness of the meat was amazing. Achieving such depth of smoky flavour throughout meat, not just on the outside layer is very difficult to achieve but these guys have done it! Due to the cut it is quite a fatty peice but has pocket of succulent meat so its no biggy. Again, if they included a few chips to make this a full main meal would equal to a perfect meal. We were able to order chips as a side at an additional cost but as iv said before this is not a cheap meal out so once you add sides each, the price racks up very fast.
We ordered the Mexican corn as a side and asked how many peices of corn on a cob was in a portion. She said 4 peices. Which we thought for the price was fair enough. But when they came out it was infact half, a full corn on a cob cut into 4 very small triangles making for a very bizzare look and ÂŁ6 for HALF a corn on the cob is extreme. The flavour was good but we did feel shortchanged in the corn department.
Overall we were very happy with our meal and left satisfied. The service was great. The lady who served us was polite and attentive. I was disappointed to see that a compulsory service charge of 12.5% is added onto the final bill. Personally I dont like having my hand forced. We always leave a tip for the waiting staff. Some larger than others depending on their service. As we were very happy with the overall experience we had already discussed leaving a ÂŁ20 tip for our waitress. But seeing the compulsory tip left made me uncomfortable so instead i just paid the bill with the compulsory amount applied. No extra.
We will be back again for the lovely food and hope that the chef may give these small snags a thought when he next reviews the menu and kitchen GP. Apart from a few small things that are nothing major, all the chefs; you should be very proud of what you served. The meat...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Bliss Bite Barbecue on Charlotte Street in London, and I can't rave enough about the experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service from Ahmad, who made our visit truly memorable.
We started our meal with the Mix Starters, which was a fantastic introduction to their menu. The chicken wings were outstandingâcrispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. The chicken tenders were equally delightful, perfectly breaded and incredibly tender. The mac & cheese bites were a creamy, cheesy delight, while the jalapeĂąo poppers had a nice kick that complemented the other starters beautifully. The hand-cut chips were crispy and golden, served alongside a refreshing coleslaw that balanced the flavours perfectly.
Next up was the Smoked Brisket, which truly stole the show. This tender, juicy brisket had been slow-cooked for an incredible 18 hours, smoked with a blend of hickory and oak wood. It was served with their signature BBQ sauce, house-made pickles, and pickled chillies. The brisket was so soft and flavorful that it practically melted in my mouthâdefinitely one of the best I've ever tasted!
We also enjoyed the Half Chicken, which was succulent and packed with flavour. Slow-smoked with their Texas-style rub, it delivered rich, smoky notes that made each bite a joy.
Finally, we indulged in the Smashed Burger, featuring double smashed aged beef patties topped with American cheese, pickles, diced onions, mayo, ketchup, and their homemade mustard. It was a satisfying and delicious end to our meal.
Overall, the food at Bliss Bite Barbecue was fantastic, and with Halal options available, it caters to a wide range of dietary preferences. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. We will definitely be back for another round of these delectable dishes!
If you're in London and craving barbecue, I highly recommend Bliss Bite Barbecueâit's an experience you wonât...

The timing of the food service was also spot on , neither rushed nor slow, just perfectly paced. Their American style dishes were executed wonderfully. The drinks and desserts also completed my experience. From the interesting cocktail menu, I chose the Bliss Mule, which was refreshing and fragrant. The blend of gingerâs kick with the other cocktail ingredients was perfectly balanced and added a special touch to my meal. For dessert, I had the Roasted Fig Tartlet, which was not only visually stunning but also delicious. The combination of roasted figs and the crisp tart pastry, along with the smooth and well-balanced cream, was the perfect finish to my meal.
