Old Bank Sutton — Restaurant in London

Woo think it will be my first and last visit -12.20 for a double gin and tonic!!! nearly fell off my chair.

I came yesterday lunchtime with a friend (6th September around 12pm) not sure of the person who served us, she was a young blond girl. We both purchased a double rhubarb and ginger gin with plain tonic.

Although pleasing to hear this was an error it would seem you were unwilling to honor this after trying to claim the refund. Having phoned first to see if it was OK to call in, was rudly told that no it wasn't an error and that a double gin is £10.20 and a tonic was £2 added to which it appeared you were irritated at my review before speaking to you first. Therfore, might I suggest, if your prices are correct that you don't lie and say its an error and offer a refund only to then revoke this and quaff at my opinion of your prices. I went in tonight I went up to the bar there was a girl there short with tied back hair , she was washing glasses saw me and carried on , I looked around for someone to come over and serve me . Somebody came over a customer and they briefly chatted and then this person said something to her and at this point she served me but she was very unpleasant and rude , this was tonight 24th February 2023 , if the staff see this and the girl who sees this as well , you know who you are and I and I will tell people to avoid this pub . The Old Bank is a fantastic pub with everything you’d want. The food is delicious, especially the fish n chips and tikka masala and the Guinness is poured perfectly. We loved that there are darts available near the bar, which adds to the fun.

The two women serving last night were absolutely lovely and attentive. There’s also a great outdoor terrace with many tables, perfect for enjoying a drink when the weather allows. The bathrooms are very clean (always appreciated), and the atmosphere is brilliant, especially when a match is on, lively and welcoming.
