LA Cafe — Restaurant in London

Me and my dad saw this cafe on a YouTube channel called @Gary eats, and we decided the food looked delicious and we should give it a try, happily recommend by Gary. We arrived at the cafe and saw that there was plenty of tables to sit at, either outside or inside which I liked having either option. We decided inside as it was rather cold and the inside had numerous awards hung around the walls. Once sat down we ordered 2 coffee 1 ice and 1 hot, and to signature breakfasts which we had seen in the video. The drinks came fast and the food was not long on the way which was happily given to us by the owner Ankur. This breakfast was unbelievable, I genuinely believe this was the best breakfast I have ever had, the French scrambled eggs had a beautiful white truffle sauce over them with a very generous portion whilst the sausage had great flavours and a great texture to the meat. The bacon was succulent and had a beautiful shell to them which made it crispy, the tomatoes which were from Spain had a homemade pesto on top of them which combined beautifully as the flavours all mixed with one another. Paired with a nice portion of Heinz beans and homemade sourdough which was light and fluffy, this breakfast was a all time high and afterwards I definitely felt full. But then I saw the deserts and I knew I had to see how tasty they would be. I ordered 3 desserts, 1 which I had at the cafe and the rest I took away. I had a pistachio mixed croissant with pistachio ice cream and chocolate sauce around it. Absolutely beautiful this dessert had all the flavours and the presentation which I appreciate a lot. I ordered a coffee, chocolate slice of cake with nuts in which was also very delicious, then finally a dessert called the NY, this heated up melts with chocolate in the inside with an outer shell of a croissant/ cinnamon swirl. My secret obsession… I have visited this place months ago on my way to work when there was a strike on the trains so I was ‘stuck’ at Sutton station for a good hour . Looking for a quick bite I stumble upon this little local treasure. I went in for a coffee and a sandwich . The lady on the counter was extremely nice and friendly and made me forget all about the strike and being late for work. She recommended me a sausage and bacon BAP and a cappuccino to improve my day . I took them on the go and left for the train . The moment I sat down on my seat and opened the box I was very impressed with the presentation. Then came the taste ! The high quality of the ingredients was very noticeable! Definitely NOT your regular local coffee sandwich ! As a matter of fact I was so impressed by the service and the food that for a whole month I was begging my partner to take me there again ! We live outside of London so for us it was quite a drive , but so worth it ! Once we were in I immediately ordered my beloved BAP again and a coffee . Later on the owner came and greeted the customers . He was so lovely , welcoming and polite ! He recommended us a homemade dessert with a hazelnut custard that was to die for ! His professionalism and passion for the food shines through and you can see it in every detail of the cafe . From the light background music , to the spotless environment , Le Creuset tableware and The Good food award on the wall for 2023 and 2024 - everything is in the details - I can full heartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience explosions of taste, great service and a bite you won’t forget ! LA Cafe, an incredibly unique and exceptional cafe!

LA Cafe is an extremely exceptional cafe! If it would be a small bite to take out or a full on meal, you will surely be able to expect a very good experience. As you enter LA Cafe, you are greeted with a warm welcome by the owners. Another thing that you will see is the display by the counter that showcases the cafe's most enticing delectables that will simply make your mouth water. One word to describe the food. DELICIOUS! It is not like any other cafe I have been to before! The desserts are absolutely heavenly, not too sweet, they are just right. The food is also packed with flavour which is by far the best we have tasted . The best thing about the food is that it is handmade and made fresh to order, because everything is made fresh, you might not get the same things everyday, but that is perfectly fine since anything you order, you will surely be able to enjoy! Also make sure you don’t miss out on their hot drinks and cold frappes, they are excellent. If you have a gluten free diet, you can also enjoy your experience at LA Cafe since there is a wide range of gluten free options to choose from that you surely will enjoy and come back for more!
