This is a nice little place in the middle of beardy Shoreditch. It's off the beaten path compared to most other drinking establishments that get frequented, but that's not to say it doesn't get busy.
There are a few things going for it that you don't normally get around the area....
It has an outside area with some tables and seating, so great for a sunny day. Plus the road that it's on isn't that busy, so you can have a conversation without raising your voice.
The food here is CHEAP. Standard pub fare... Fish finger sandwiches, burgers, steak sandwiches etc. All around the £5 - 7 mark and they all come with fries.

This is a good size traditional corner boozer with no frills or gimmicks. The beer was good and the food is very reasonably priced, they are open from 8am for those in search of a full english. The atmosphere was lively on this busy Tuesday evening with plenty of office workers enjoying an after work drink.
