Not exactly the company you want to work with if you are living abroad. Their requirements for residence documentation are more difficult than banks etc.
In my last request, they even wanted me to send them a "selfie" :)
Not a company I can recommend.
I have moved to another provider already, who seems to have order in their documentation requests.
Comments to your answer below; HMRC, Companies House, and my UK Bank accept the same documents I sent you, with no comments.
I have been customer at your company from 2015. When I added a new company, then you ask me to provide "selfie" and get my documents notarized at a cost of 200 euro extra, just to satisfy your own "rules" / or maybe your misinterpretation of the given law.. this is for no use as the organizations mentioned above did accept the documents without any comments.
It seems like your company are not fully equipped for international customers and your requests on getting foreign government documents notarized just add distrust/suspicion on your customers.
Further, using your answer below as a āadvertisingā for how good and professional your company is and that you just are following āknow your customerā rules, is at least a bit ironic, as I have been a customer at your company for 5 years, and you did not recognize that (know...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I cancelled! Having been a long-time customer for their mail service (by collection) since 2016/17, around the time this business started, for years I was happy with the service, only using it for a handful of postal items each year. Things changed in late 2023, when the directors apparently ordered staff to destroy post, despite there being a note on my account that I would collect my one or two letters every few months. Yes, this is not in the contract, but staff agreed and didn't state it could be a problem. No one bothered to notify that the post was to be destroyed. Surely it's an unacceptable act to shred mail when you've agreed to offer a duty of care? Sadly, some of the lovely, hardworking staff I was familiar with changed over around the same time in late 2023, too, which seems a coincidence. I wish the best for the staff there going forward š«”
[Review edited after being contacted by a company director that implied legal accountability for what they considered to be defamatory remarks, fair enough]
After reading the company's response below (posted several hours after the edit noted above) it is obvious to see that they have no concern for customers' privacy, so just ask yourself if these are people you want to entrust your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have had the pleasure in dealing with this company today, an to say I am impressed is a bit of an understatement. I had a issue with a registered address and was not expecting resolution, owing to time frame the issue had occured in without being noticed. I recieved a reply to my email from Hoxton, the lady in sales who had replied to me had gone out of her to way to look into my issue. Not knowing if this was a sales opportunity for her or a complete waste of her time. Regardless, she promptly returned with an update and as a resullt I have been able to resolve a costly oversight to my company, and rest my mind that going forward the issue will never again impact my business. I can only praise Hoxton Mix for their quality customer service, an to the concienciousness of the kind lady who responded to...
