Olive Garden — Restaurant in London

Before I get into my review I need to say this, who thought calling an Indian restaurant Olive Garden was a good idea? It sounds like a name of an Italian restaurant.

I live locally and ordered a take away where I would come and collect. When I got there there was a lady checking a crate of vegetables and she saw me go into the restaurant.

No one was there I waited a few mins and then asked someone if anyone's serving and then this man said her and pointed at the lady checking the vegetables. She apologised and I payed for the food checked it and left.

Unfortunately the food was awful I bought a whole tandoori chicken the flavour was lacking and it tasted a little sour like there was too much lemon. Also ordered two curries one tasted of nothing and the Jeera rice I bought was incredibly oily.

The garlic naan I ordered barely had a garlic flavour and again had a lemon flavour which was weird. Highly disappointed the food isn't cheap and there are plenty of better options nearby which are cheaper. I would recommend you avoid this place, don't waste your time or money the food is mediocre.

I really don't understand the glowing 5*...

A couple of weeks ago we had booked the Event space for a very special 1st birthday celebration. I can’t even start how many issues I can list. Starting from the booking, we were promised that all our requests will be taken care of, but they were nowhere met. The decoration was clearly reused, the Air Conditioning was not at all effective and worst of all the time management was very bad. I had to leave the place without dinner at 8:45pm, when I had already informed nearly 30 mins before to keep the food ready. Very very mis managed event, we felt that they did not prioritise us even though we had booked well in advance. They offered some kind of discount on their food delivery service, and were busy with their other orders. The staff was rude as well, with our other guests as well as with me. Today we have had a very bad experience in this restaurant. We are daily customers. We ordered butter naan but they gave us only raw naan (means in the naan there is very very low qty of butter like raw naan) No support was given, instead there manager said that she can't do anything and she didn't talk to us equally, her nature was very bad and she didn't even know how to talk, We tried to convince her to talk to her, but she was giving us very unsatisfied answers. From all of this we are so so disappointed because we used to go there atlist once in a week. After this, we will not go to this place any day because today we have had a very bad experience and the worst thing is that the manager is very bad, so I don't prefer to go to such a place.
