I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bella Vita, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The staff at Bella Vita were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the food. Oh my goodness, it was a culinary journey through Italy! The menu at Bella Vita offers a wide range of authentic Italian dishes that will satisfy even the most discerning palate. I started with their bruschetta, and it was a burst of flavors. The tomatoes were perfectly ripe, the bread was toasted to perfection, and the drizzle of olive oil added just the right amount of richness.
For the main course, I couldn't resist trying their classic pasta dish, the spaghetti carbonara. It was absolute perfection! The pasta was cooked al dente, and the creamy sauce was rich and flavorful. Every bite was a true taste of Italy.
One thing that stood out to me was the attention to detail in every dish. It was evident that the chefs at Bella Vita take pride in their craft and put love into every plate they serve. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were exquisite.
The ambiance at Bella Vita is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a romantic date night or a gathering with friends and family. The staff's knowledge of the menu and their recommendations made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend Bella Vita to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in Twickenham. The combination of delicious food, friendly staff, and cozy ambiance creates a memorable experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more....
Read moreI just fell in love with this place after the first sight/dinner. I am local (in Richmond), but moved house recently and looked for a reliable place where to go for a dinner and/ or have a meal with friends.
I dined around and those restaurants were ok, but something was missing (either service was just ok, or food was blunt, or they were fully booked and arrogant).
I started going to my favourite restaurants back to Richmond to have a nice dinner. But today I discovered this place and I think I don’t need to go anywhere else.
Amazing staff, exceptional service, diverse menu, very well cooked dishes, ambiance is great (table are not close to each other, quiet but not silent, fabric table cloth(!)), all is so measured and artfully combined to provide clients with an amazing experience - for casual dinning, and I imagine special occasion will be great as well.
It is such a relief for me to find a place where I can have a good dinner. It was a bit challenging to find it in this area.
Don’t make an assumption (as I did) that if it is close to the station it might be very simple and for rugby crowds. I regret following this assumption. This is the best Italian restaurant in the area. They are just luckily being positioned closer to the station.
The major impression is very warming and nurturing atmosphere. People there do care about their restaurant and...
Read moreLet's start with the positives. The staff were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome. The wine was really good especially the house red. The food is where things got disappointing for me. The baked or fried foods we ordered tasted like they were shop bought frozen items and my pizza wasn't very good at all. For an independent Italian restaurant I was very surprised that the quality of the food was not better, especially when there is so much competition locally and from online delivery also. I thought that it may have just been my meal that was lacking but having spoken to all of my friends in the pub afterwards there were complaints about the pasta dishes and the fish dishes. I used to live in Twickenham so I know that this restaurant has been there for quite a number of years (maybe not owned by the same people) but for me this was not the level it needs to be for authentic Italian food. I can honestly say I've had better pizza in a chain restaurant such as Zizzi. This will appeal to a certain British pallette (would be good for younger kids) but if you are after authenticity...
