I visit this Cafe Nero frequently when in the area b this evening has been one of the worst experiences ever. Not that the coffee and food is bad, nor the ambience with the comfy chairs but the people visiting. I walked I here at 1700 hrs and it was like a children's playground with one table of several mothers and their kids, although the kids were allowed to run riot pulling biscuits and cakes out if the shelves and generally making a noise. At one point two of them started throwing a ball around in front of the counter which is not only something that should not be allowed but also dangerous with hot drinks around. At another table were two mothers and their sons and they were also playing unsupervised and as I was talking to one of the baristas about it,, they both ran into a chair and ended up screaming the place down,, all as their parents stood talking. The barista said he was fed up with it all too and would be speaking to his manage about it.

Read moreFree Coffee if you're Italian !!!! I've been coming here since this place opened in March 2012, 7 years of buying coffee, that's a lot of money. I've noticed on several occasions now that friends of the Baristas who are Italian get free coffees. Today was the last straw. I was standing in the queue and the guy behind me was Italian, he ordered an espresso and the female Barista spoke to him in Italian, gave him the coffee and didn't charge him. Such a cheek while the rest of us are standing there like lemons with our Cafe nero apps and cash waiting to pay. Maybe I should learn Italian I'd save a...
