I have just experienced a horrifying experience in Pret A Manger. The general manager a lady quite tall wearing a black shirt. Was so rude to me. I asked for an oatmeal drink. The cashier lady looked horrified and said you never said that. I specifically said with oat milk. I saw the fear in the cashiers yes she didn’t want to take the blame. Then the manager raises her voice at me and says I’ll have to wait behind everyone else’. I said I’ve already waited and she proceeds to say in a raised frustrated tone ‘I’m very busy you should get the drink right next time’. Clearly I never made a mistake which I reiterated and she kept trying to blame it on me. The cashier was mortified and I just asked for a refund. I have never felt so violated and humiliated ever in Pret A Manger. I go to this coffee shop quite often for the professionalism and kindness shown on staff. Not this bully culture. That general manager bully’s her staff and I’m sure she’s not a very kind person...

Read moreThis morning I have experienced very bad attitude from a manager/supervisor, blond middle aged… I have ordered coffee and a croissant like I do every morning and she didn’t allow me to take croissant before I pay !!!!!! She pointed with her finger to the card machine to pay and then I can take the food !!!!! Unbelievable, I have felt so ashamed, treated like I am going to steal something from the shop!!! And I am there every day in the morning! I hope this will not go away without punishing this rude lady, I am asking HR or anyone above her to teach her how to behave towards regular or any customers!
