I recently dined at Palace Spice in London, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The food was bursting with authentic flavors, and every dish was cooked to perfection. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani, both of which were incredibly flavorful and well-presented. The naan bread was fresh, soft, and the perfect accompaniment to the meal.
The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.
Overall, Palace Spice exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine in London. I will definitely be...
Read moreMy experience of this restaurant does not match other reviews. The food was all very oily (see photo) and sometimes undercooked. Honestly not particularly tasty either.
My biggest issue is that the waiter encouraged us to over order food even though we asked him whether it was enough for two. The food ended up being enough for three to four people.
In the same vein, when my partner finished his drink and I was partly through mine, he requested sparkling water. A large bottle for two arrived, even though he never stated it was for the table. This should really be asked not assumed. The consequence of this was we ended up with a very expensive bill which we didn't feel matched the food experience.
The only plus is that the waiters are nice although as above I would rather they wouldn't try to make...

Kormar was didn't taste of anything (and yes, we are perfectly aware it's a mild dish, but it should have had some spices identifiable!) The Tika masala was also sadly, flavourless. The pershwari naan was very over floured and lacked the key element of almonds, there was some in the middle, but did go to at least just before the edge. We also had the Shatkora chicken and it was a very limed chicken dish indeed, we belive chunks of preserved limes we in it, the lime over powered it really - never had it before, but just not our 'speciality' dish. However, grest mint sauce though and pilau rice. Doubt we'd come back again...
