Arena Breakfast & Greek Grill Meze Bar — Restaurant in London

First and last visit for dinner. Completely lacking in hospitality and service. Food was extremely bland, lacking in any flavour. Presentation could be better too. A total lack of effort in terms of food and service. The waiter was not engaging at all and had to be asked for every little thing when it should be his job to pre-empt certain requests. He even steered us away from certain dishes due to the time and effort they'd take to make!! Coke was flat. No offer of bread or salad to begin with or to accompany the main meal, which are both standard at most Mediterranean restaurants. No table water offered or provided until we requested it. Had to wait to be given cutlery to eat our main meal. No thank you once we'd paid and they just let us leave without even a courteous 'goodbye and thank you for coming' despite being new customers. Stumbled across this place after dropping my wife and kids at the stadium to see 1D. I had 3 hours to kill and i thought it would drag but I was so wrong. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was very authentic and of excellent standard. I had a 3 hr drive to reach Wembley and after feeling rather stressed this restaurant made me relaxed instantly. The owner said he has been there for 30 years - and it shows. Totally in charge, on top of everything, always looking to provide excellent friendly service. The standout for me was when my phone died. I knew my family would need to call me when they came out of the show so I ended someday power. The owner tried several staff members for an iPhone 4s charger and eventually got hold of the chef's. Charged me up and then charged up the lady's phone next to me. What a star! Amazing Dining Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Arena, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavors and presented with such care. You can tell the chefs here are passionate about their craft. Whether it was the perfectly cooked main course or the indulgent dessert, every bite was a delight.
