The Arch Wembley — Restaurant in London

I forgot about this restaurant until I got an ad for them on my Instagram today, so I wanted to say DO NOT EAT HERE! I used to eat here almost every weekend with friends and recommended it to so many people. I was such a regular customer that all the staff remembered us. Every time I ate there and ordered food I told the staff I have a severe nut allergy and got them to inform the kitchen. Even though every time I came they remembered me and my allergy, I reminded them each and every time to be 100% safe. One day in May 2021 I went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, they recognised us as usual and as I did every time I reminded them of my nut allergy and they informed the chef. I took a bite of my food and immediately started having an allergic reaction to the chutney, my boyfriend administered an epipen and we called an ambulance. The waiter noticed and said “sorry we forgot there’s peanuts in that dish, I know you told us”. Moments later the manager came out and screamed at my boyfriend that we did this on purpose and “next time tell us you have an allergy” (even though we did, and it had been acknowledged by the staff) as I was being carried into the ambulance. They had absolutely no sympathy, were awfully rude and still made us pay for our food, even tho my boyfriend was gracious and never outright blamed them, despite it being their fault. Arrived to be told the rooms had been overbooked. ||No contact had been made via air bnb or booking.com.||The host sat behind some plexiglass, offered No refund via cash or card. Simply grunted and gestured to the screen saying this happens often.||There were 10 others being told the same thing. 3 members of staff also appeared to be circling the area, as if to appear threatening.||The host also didn't cancel the booking, so I had to chase this personally. Having to find an alternative hotels at short notice was of significant inconvenience and added cost.||Furthermore, there is evidence of very suspicious practice from this hotel.||1. I believe they delete reviews on Google as other cancelled guests left 1 star reviews the same time as I have, these have since disappeared. Mine is currently still there. ||2. There was also a review, featuring a screenshot where the hotel using Telegram to pay people to leave 5 star reviews ||3. Many of the reviews on Google have clearly been written by idiots using chat gpt as the prompt has been left in the copy paste. ||...||I booked this hotel for the location and in a short panic timeframe after Coldplay rescheduled their show. Obviously looking back at the reviews, I wouldn't have booked it. ||...||Clearly running some type of scam with price scalping and hoping that by not cancelling my booking themselves, they can keep monies from deliberately...

I freakin' LOVE this place! Everything from the food, to the service, to the awesome staff (especially James) is top tier. Went with a few peeps to celebrate life and togetherness, and from the minute we walked in the vibes were vibing. The atmosphere is cool and there is a real buzz of excitement throughout. The staff are so warm and friendly, and they can't do enough for you. That kind of customer service is what would make me return on the regular. I'm gonna shout out James again! James your energy is infectious and you made our night with your dope self! Thank you for looking out for us when some people got a little too friendly! You really made the night- and me and my crew are gonna visit again just because of you 😊

As a vegan I was pleased with the options available and the food was first-class, they would have had to roll me out if I ordered more 😶 (you gotta order the vegan cheeseburger for real, for real). If you drink, they got a mad selection of premium liquor and more .The DJ had everyone on the dance floor and the tunes were bussin'. The owner has done a great job bringing that city vibe to NW and to be honest, I would rather be at the Arch Wembley that in the West End. Parking can be hit and miss, so get an Uber or a ride.
