Papayaya is an outstanding Asian restaurant with one of the biggest menus I’ve ever seen – the choice is huge! The chef is absolutely amazing – he’s also one of the owners (together with his partner, who also runs Rita’s Café). He’s an experienced gentleman, and he cooks everything with such skill and flavor – truly restaurant-quality food, every single time.

I’ve tried many dishes here – the soups (large portions!), different types of noodles (I usually go for the gluten-free rice noodles), and everything I’ve had has been simply delicious. I like the new dish Ho-Fan in black bean sauce which is really tasty. Honestly, one dish is better than the next – you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Their opening hours are very convenient: they serve lunch from 11:30 to 2:30pm, close for a short break, and reopen at 5pm until 10pm (closed on Mondays). The food is always fresh and full of flavor, perfect for dining in or takeaway.

If you come with a friend, I recommend ordering a pot of lemongrass tea – they serve it in a big teapot, and it’s so refreshing and tasty. The service is excellent too – the staff are always attentive, quick to clean tables, and genuinely kind. Every time I come, I leave happy, full, and satisfied.

I even came once with a headache – they served me hot tea and delicious food, and I left feeling so much better. That’s the kind of warmth and care this place gives. The customer service is outstanding, which is rare and makes this restaurant really stand out.

Highly recommend Papayaya – you won’t be...

THEY MUST GO TO SOME EFFORT TO MAKE FOOD THIS BAD!!!

Received a takeaway from this restaurant and cannot express how truely terrible this food is! I am convinced that any review that states otherwise has been fabricated. I called the owner immediately to explain. He become extremely defensive. On me expressing this is terrible food he responded “this is how it is” I said I want a refund he refused and said it would cost him money!! I said I have payed money and expect dinner that is inedible. Only buy from this restaurant if your into eating rubbery slop that appeares to have been eaten and then regurgitated. Just eat are now dealing with my refund and explained to me this keeps happening with this particular restaurant. I would have kept this all to myself had the owner apologised and offered...

My 100th review, so this is special ;) An amazing start up restaurant in UK has the potential to capture a huge market if they keep their values intact. We went there over a dinner and every department was just above expectations. We ordered duck spring rolls, orange juice, summer love (floral tea), prawn vermicelli noodles and chicken nasi goreng. The waitress and the waiter who served us were very polite, smiling, reassuring whether everything is all right. Drinks, starters & mains arrived according to the plan. Food & drinks were very delicious. Reasonable portions. The setup is very colourful and eye catching. Spotlessly clean. Wash room is also clean. All in all a good restaurant if you are a Thai/ Malaysian fan. This is the first Papayaya in UK. Just keep your values intact. All...

Located just up from Bromley South station we came for an meal on a Saturday evening, first ever visit, and found a table surprisingly easy.I say surprisingly because I'm not sure why this restaurant isn't more busy. The service was spot on, friendly, efficient and fast. The menu choice was very good but obviously the pan Asian theme runs throughout, quite alot of dishes use some form of chilli ingredients. The food itself was very nice, absolutely loved the sesame prawn rolls and soft shell crab though. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit. *Second visit* Still great, still had the same starters, but for main I had Thai green prawn curry this time, absolutely gorgeous. STILL worth checking out. *Third visit* Still brilliant. Lovely food, great service, good prices.
