I have been eyeing on this joint earlier this year which was supposed to open around April but unfortunately we all had to wait due to Covid. Paratha Inn opened recently so I just couldn't wait to check it out. They specialize in Paratha rolls which are basically like wraps but using Paratha just like Frankie Rolls and Kati Rolls in Central London. On the menu there are so many rolls to choose from but it was really hard to choose because they all seemed good. According to the staff the Malai Boti Roll is the best seller and everything is made fresh, expect more meat to salad ratio in the filling. For me, I have probably locked my choices down to the egg shami roll, peri peri chicken roll, paneer roll, chicken tikka roll and masala chips. I couldn't make up my mind, I got the Kashmiri Pink Chai (Noon Tea). The traditional Kashmiri tea is made with gunpowder tea, milk and baking soda which makes it pink because of the chlorophyl in tea reacting with bicarbonate of soda). At Paratha Inn, they do not use baking soda. When the Kashmiri Pink Chai came, it pretty pink contrasted by the green crushed pistachio nuts. The taste was milky, sweet and delicate and with every sip there were some crushed pistachio nuts that give it some depth. Also had the Doodh Pati Chai which tasted like Horlicks at first then the aftertaste was like Hong Kong style milk tea so Hongkongers will definitely like it. Both the Kasmiri Pink tea and Doodh Pati Chai are mild and not spiced so they are not as strong as the masala Chai. Since the Malai Boti roll is their popular pick, I had that with masala chips and chicken tikka rice. The roll was creamy and delicious with big chunks of tender white meat while the paratha wrap was soft and light. Next I had the Masala Chips, another favourite of mine as a carbs person. Each chip was fully covered in sauce and the spring onions worked like magic giving the spiced chips some grassy freshness. For mains, the chicken tikka rice was really filling, there was so many chunks of chicken in it and the rice was fluffy. I found the rice quite fiery with a strong cardamon fragrance so if you can't take the heat you might want to ask for...

Just had the pleasure of visiting Paratha Inn in Croydon, and it’s safe to say this place is a game-changer for the local food scene! 🎉 Paratha Inn brings a slice of South Asian comfort to the heart of Croydon. With another branch in Streatham, they’re clearly onto something special!

We indulged in a variety of dishes:: Paratha and Channay with Lassi Classic Paratha and Omelette combo Shami Kebab paired with Mango Lassi Aloo and Cheese Parathas Kashmiri and Karak Chai Chicken Tikka Rice Masala Chips Refreshing Nimbu Pani

The channay stole the show with its perfect blend of spices. The shami kebab was a close second, offering a burst of flavours with each bite. But the real surprise? The cheese paratha - a simple yet indulgent treat that left us wanting more. Don’t miss out on their beverages! The pink Kashmiri tea was a visual and taste sensation, while the nimbu pani provided the perfect refreshing counterpoint to the rich food.

Paratha Inn nails the vibe with its cool, contemporary decor. It’s the ideal spot for a casual lunch or a relaxed evening with friends, bonding over steaming cups of chai. It’s refreshing to see a wide array of halal and vegetarian options in Croydon. As someone who grew up in this area, it’s exciting to witness the culinary landscape evolve with quality establishments like Paratha Inn.

Paratha Inn has been on my radar since they opened, and I’m thrilled to say it lived up to the anticipation. It’s more than just a meal - it’s a taste of home and heritage, served with a modern twist.

Whether you’re a Croydon local or just passing through, make sure to give Paratha Inn visit...

I recently had the pleasure of dining atParatha inn , and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped in, the inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

The menu offered a tantalizing array of dishes, each a masterpiece of flavors. The chicken and cheese Paratha was a true highlight, with a perfect blend of ingredients that left my taste buds dancing with delight. Presentation was impeccable, showcasing the culinary artistry that defines this establishment.

What truly set this dining experience apart, however, was the impeccable service provided by the staff. The team at Paratha inn went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our evening was flawless. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff members were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely passionate about making our dining experience memorable.

In addition to the delectable cuisine, the warm and welcoming demeanor of the staff added a personal touch to the evening. It's rare to find a place where the staff's enthusiasm matches the excellence of the food, but Paratha inn managed to achieve just that.

From start to finish, this dining experience was a symphony of flavors orchestrated by a team dedicated to providing top-notch service. If you're searching for a culinary haven with both delicious food and an amazing staff, Paratha inn is undoubtedly the place to be. I look forward to returning soon to explore more of their culinary delights and savor the outstanding hospitality that...
