Easily missed as currently it has scaffolding over the front, but glad we spotted it on our walk. The bar staff who were there at the time of our visit were 2 guys, one a budding actor, orginally from Chicago, quite entertaining behind the bar, the other barman was super charming, and a bar lady that made sure everyone was OK constantly infront and behind the bar) all made our experience so relaxing, super kind, and friendly, toilets clean, food was tasty. definitely go back as they provided a lovely environment to be in, which for a pub around Liverpool St is rare as normally it's so touristy, over priced, and not pub like at all. Felt like a safe environment for 2 women, having a girlie catch-up to be in as well. Not intimidating at all!

What a beautiful pub! Classical features galore. A high ceiling, Victorian masterpiece of quality design and heritage. An ornate, cascading balcony overlooks a well spaced bar area with wonderfully decorative bar woodwork. A theme of Victorian heritage decoration adorns every surface from balcony edging, underside to ceiling panels, coving and pillars. The railway cabin styled seating is superb vintage design with cushioned bend seating and period light features everywhere. There's a train departure board feed prominently displayed to keep you on track and the atmosphere is well balanced in sound for a civilised chatty catch up with friends. This pub is an absolute beauty.

I went to this pub for a catch-up with a mate recently and I can say this pub ticks all the right boxes. They serve all kinds of beers. They got good enough selection of food and appetizers. The location is hard to beat as it is right outside one of the Liverpool street station exit. My favorite thing is that they have booths for those, like me, that prefer to have a bit more private conversations away from the hustle and bustle of the main bar area. You can reserve these it seems so that is a plus. Anyways I would recommend this pub for anyone who works nearby and wants to grab a drink before they catch their ride from the station.

The Lord Aberconwy in the heart of the City of London is a true gem for those seeking a classic pub experience amidst the city's bustling atmosphere. This old-school establishment exudes charm with its traditional decor and welcoming ambiance, offering a comforting escape from the modern metropolis outside.

The food is solid and satisfying, with a menu that features well-executed pub classics. From hearty pies to flavorful fish and chips, each dish feels like a warm embrace, perfect for a casual lunch or an after-work meal. The beer selection is equally impressive, with a range of well-kept ales and lagers that cater to both the traditionalist and those seeking something new.

Service is attentive and friendly, contributing to the overall inviting vibe of the place. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Lord Aberconwy offers an authentic slice of London pub culture that’s becoming harder to find in the city. It’s a place where you can relax, enjoy good food, and sip on a perfectly poured pint, making it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the timeless charm of a true...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting "Lord aberconway ," a renowned bar that has been the talk of the town for its ambiance, drinks, and exceptional service. From the moment I stepped foot through the door, I was captivated by the bar's enchanting atmosphere and the warm, welcoming staff ( special mention Mr Bijay). He was attentive, always ready to provide recommendations or answer any questions about the extensive drink menu. His knowledge of the bar's offerings was impressive, and they were adept at guiding patrons through the various beers and options available. Lord aberconway truly lives up to its name, delivering an extraordinary blend of exquisite drinks, impeccable service, and a sense of community that will leave you longing for...
