Peabodys Coffee — Restaurant in London

WORTHING HOSPITAL We looked online at the menu , it mentioned soup and stews,so we looked forward to visiting. We were very disappointed with the food selection, there was a dried up rasher of bacon in a bap roll ,total cost to make 35p ,their price £3.95. 1 cold sausage roll , 3 pieces of Margarita pizza ,Aubergine bake ,a few dried up Palmiter potoes,broccoli, sandwiches and rolls ,that was it ,everything looked very unappetising, but was expensive for what it was . No pasta, no soup, no pastires, no croissants, nothing to out a can of drink in ,its hard trying to take medication drinking out ofva can !!. The pizza was rock hard,no taste what so ever , inedible , the sausage roll was alright, but there was only 1 . The cafe wasn't busy when we arrived so I don't know why there wasn't more food. Dire flat white prepped by a barista that must have given up caring long ago (Peabody's Jenner wing). When you're a parent on a ward, popping out for a coffee is about as much of a treat as you can get...and a walk... and your mental break. Such a let down when you pay £3+ to get a dogste coffee. Instead of a smooth flat white I received a bubbly and foamy mess. Lady had no idea how to use pitcher or steam wand properly (or just doesn't care). Unfortunately Pret (I tried the next day) was no better, so both coffee shops at the hospital are useless! Used the coffee shop at St Georges hospital, well where do I start 😤 the woman who served me was rude, I asked for a paper bag to put my takeaway food in, she looked at me and glared and walked away, when she started serving someone else, I bit my lip and asked another lady, she came back with one, but the first woman snapped and said no we don't supply bags 🤔 I'm sorry but u do, they have the name of the coffee shop on the bags and they resemble a takeaway bag 👜 as I was leaving, I saw the same woman handing another customer A TAKEAWAY BAG 😡 i won't be coming back here again.
