Pizza 2 Night Twickenham — Restaurant in London

Today I’m very sad, as I can’t eat Pizza2Night pizza any longer.

We regularly get menus delivered, the place is about 2 miles away. The pizza is deep pan, good crispness to the base and generous on the toppings. But best for me, they did a garlic sauce base instead of tomato, and as I can’t eat tomato this meant I could eat their pizzas, unlike most any other pizza chains.

The problems started when they produced their app. They must have bought some sort of zoning software, because suddenly, they stopped delivering. The app says we are out of the area, and phoning up now they say the same. After 10 years, I now had to drive and collect. This was annoying, and certainly reduced how often we would buy them, but it was only 5 mins in the car, so a 15 minute round trip.

Now, though, they have removed the garlic base from the options.

Ordered food tonight. Was told it was going to be 30 mins and that we wanted to pay by debit card. 30 mins passed and no arrival, called and said it was 5 mins away. 15 mins passed and called back and told another 5 mins. Arrived finally 15 minutes after that and the driver said he wanted cash despite us making it extremely clear we wanted to pay by card. He ran to his car with the pizza and said he’s not coming over until we call and pay by card. Due to the extremely late delivery, we wanted to make sure that the pizza wasn’t cold and he wouldn’t let us look at the pizza and became extremely suspicious about what he was delivering. We asked several times if we could check the pizza and he drove off in a hurry. The takeaway then called us demanding money for him to come back. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! A COMPLETE JOKE OF A RESTAURANT.

I ordered two pizzas under their deal and they were delivered burnt with a drink missing. I called them up and they said they would replace it. When the replacement pizzas arrived, they were burnt just as badly. At this point they had wasted over an hour of my time so I requested a refund.

Whilst the refund was being investigated through just-eat, the restaurant had the audacity to call me on my mobile and verbally abuse me, asking me if I had ever eaten a pizza in my life.
