No, I'm not having this, I paid for a service which I expect for it to provided, by such a big firm.
One - "Service" over an hour and fifteen minutes for food to arrive. When in reality your website bot, told me otherwise, when I called I had a very frank young lady which I assume is your manager, or supervisor, and the explained following; "You had a busy night and the shop was short of drivers. 🤔! I fail to see how that is my problem? But ok, but phone call to advise your food will be cold in arrival, will go a long way.
Two - "Delivery" was just horrible, Your driver Elias told me to "come down the stairs" to pick up my food, as he says due to security reasons he was not allowed to bring my food delivered to my door, free delivery "Ha", still looking for in the t&c for this quote! But hey!
Three - Your food was disgusting, I orderred from Pizza Hut, not from my local kebab shop, but apparently a franchise that has done pizza for over a decade does not get that, wether your under new management or even under new staff, there's a standard that needs to be met, and boy did you fail! As you can see in the pictures the box is drench with grease, not condensation, but grease, and not only that add cold pizza taste to the equation, well you get a nasty aftertaste of grease in your mouth. YOU HAVE FAILED YOUR STANDARDS.
Let's see overall; Customer Service =0 Call handling = -10 Food service = -10 Delivery time = OMG you have got to be kidding!
Final verdict, let's see I would rather have a trained monkey cook a meal at my house and spoil my night, that way I would be able to laugh at the situation, not only that at least I would keep an eye on the amount of oil I put in my food and and see it does not reach dangerous level of health hazards, and on the delivery well better get it here by stoke, at least I might get it delivered on time, and well I think on the wonderful customer service provided, a tad of empathy and less corporate greed, may go a long way, other wise might as well have Scrooge manage the place and take the phone calls, that way they actually might get things...
Read moreI'm doing this review based on being a delivery driver some time ago I was given a deliveroo order I arrived collected the order and followed the deliveroo map as you need to the customer location on the deliveroo app upon arrival I called the customer because I could not find him so after going back and forth for 10 mins with my bicycle I started to realise he was very far from the assigned location on the deliveroo app so I called deliveroo rider support to ask what to do i was waiting on the phone another 6 or 7 mins the lady comeback to me and said we just spoke to the customer the address is wrong so you discard of the food in a safe manner and that's it ok so I went to Waterloo station and gave away the food to homeless lady that was next to station ,2 hour later I had another job that left me close to the Pizza hut and I thought because I'm honest and I don't want people thinking wrong about me I went in and was going to explain what happened with the order to my surprise i was meet by this guy shouting abuse at me calling me names there were customers inside it was very degrading to me i tried to explain to him everything i even called deliveroo rider support there in front of him still he kept abusing me i explained to him i gave the food to homeless that made him even more hungry he wanted me to bring him back the food BUT it does not work like that you don't take food back to restaurants the policy is to discard of it i just want to say i will never order from this. Read moreI'm absolutely disgusted at the service received at this branch and will never order here again. Like the last person to review this pizza hut, I should've checked the reviews before placing an order.
My order arrived an hour and a half after placing the order and calling to ask where it had gotten to. This happened on the 10th of September. It arrived barely warm and with the wrong base. But I was hungry and didn't mind. I then received an email saying if I received my pizza late, I could call in to receive a £10 off voucher for my next order. So I called the branch and was somewhat rudely told that they didn't do the voucher. However, I could have a free pizza next time I ordered. As I worked in retail for a long time I asked the staff member if notes would be written down that could be referenced when I called next. I was told there was no need, it would just be under my address. I double checked that I would have no issues when I called the next time and thanked the staff member.
Today I called and politely relayed the information, explaining the situation. I was then told there were no notes, that according to their system I had never placed an order with them and as such, I had been authorised to have a free pizza on top of any other deal and that was it. THIS IS NOT A FREE PIZZA. I EVEN HAD AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF THE OLD ORDER . Don't make promises you can't keep! Deliver on reasonably on time! And at the very least get the bloody order right if you're going to mess me...
