Pret A Manger — Restaurant in London

This is honestly the worst Pret I have ever ordered from. I have actually never been there as I normally order through the app. This review is based on my experience at other Prets where the food / drinks are usually quite good. The coffees prepared by Pret Harbour Island are abominable, I don’t know how you can make coffee tastes that bad. It’s literally undrinkable and I’m not fussy. Any food that they prepare themselves is inedible. For example if you order a toastie, they won’t even bother to toast it properly. Try to eat a ham and cheese toastie that’s partially raw where the cheese is not even melted because apparently they don’t know how to operate the toaster(???). Seriously avoid this place at all cost, it’s an embarrassment to the Pret chain. I have ordered from this place 5 or 6 times (usually by mistake) and it has been consistently awful. The place is very comfortable with a lot of places of different kind. The big advantage: there is an area with a GREAT VIEW over the Millwall Dock and a part of Canary Wharf, and it looks like it is floating over the water of the dock, which feels really relaxing. There are quite a lot of people studying here over the weekends, so it seems to be a relatively quite place with The Cloud WiFi. It does get busy during the lunch time, as it is pretty much the only close-by option in the are for the people at the business centre. The rest of the time it is very quite and the staff is friendly and consistent (the same people working since the opening, which says about the quality...

I mean Pret coffee is notorious already but NEVER come to this shop because the man at the counter will show his ‘face’ (in his own words) and be rude if you didn’t hear the calling of your order??? I mean… at least behave as someone working here even if we are not expecting any customer services… If it’s my coffee I can come and grab whenever I like… but anyways just go somewhere else if what you want is a COFFEE BREAK — there isn’t COFFEE or BREAK at this shop for sure. A pathetic place with stupid rude staff like this should simply go down. P.S. the oat mocha is also the worst I’ve ever had lol - tastes really weird - not surprising at all - what kind of people...
