I visited the restaurant last night, with my partner and quite frankly, the standard of customer service was shockingly bad.
What concerned me was the fact that on the website, the closing time is shown as 11pm and despite arriving at 9:30pm, we were rushed to order within 10 minutes. Following this, there was a complete lack of table maintenance and we found ourselves surrounded by empty dishes throughout the whole meal, even after we paid and left.
We were asked, right after ordering, if we wanted to get a Shisha, for the cost of £30, to which we agreed. At 10:30, half an hour prior to closing, it was taken away from my hand, while I was using it. For me then to realise that the manager and our waiter had sat down on a table next to us with a Shisha of their own.
Upon mentioning it to said manager, I was told that they were closing and their Shisha (which I had paid £30 for) was "for staff". I think this is completely unacceptable, especially considering the fact that another table was still sitting outside with their Shisha. Furthermore, following my calm conversation with the manager, we were not offered any solution to rectify the situation, as if it's acceptable for the staff to rush us because they are supposedly closing the restaurant, and then sit down next to us for a smoke break.

This was hands down one of the worst Lebanese meals we’ve ever had. The lamb and chicken shish were completely dry, with the texture of overcooked leftovers. The rice with vermicelli had zero flavour – bland, lifeless, and totally unseasoned.
Lebanese cuisine is globally respected for its richness and quality, and London has many incredible places that showcase that. Byblos Harbour is not one of them.
We also ordered kibbeh, minced meat arayes, and sambousik – all were oily, deep-fried beyond recognition, and filled with smelly, unpleasant-tasting meat. It was impossible to finish any of them. This is not just poor cooking – it’s careless and off-putting.
The positive reviews must be fake or from people who’ve never tried real Lebanese food. No way this deserves a 4.8 on Deliveroo. This was a complete disaster from start to...
Read moreTerrible food & customer service Visited this place for the first time on Sunday evening. We ordered some hot and cold mezzes and mains. It wasn’t busy at all but we waited absolutely ages for our mezze plates and then we had to remind the staff that we were still waiting for a dish. We also asked for some chilli sauce & ketchup. Both times the staff member rolled her eyes at our request- still not sure why as it wasn’t an unusual request and it still wasn’t buy! Considering the price, the mezze dishes are small and the taste of every single dish was terribly disappointing. My guests and I have been to many different Lebanese restaurants and this one definitely comes in at the bottom of the list. The restrooms are also in bad shape. No toilet tissue, locks on both cubicles broken and blown bulb in one of the cubicles. All in all, a waste of money, we should have gone 5 mins round the...
