Don't often get lunch from Pret, there's a few near me but they're usually queuing a lot when I get my lunch. Tried it this time because we needed to eat quickly and it was after busy time. I'm reviewing this with only two stars I'm afraid - despite the lunchtime rush being pretty much over and available staff just milling around, the window table where we ate was squalid and needed cleaning with napkins and the hand gel we brought. Most annoying of all - while my wife & kids enjoyed their food, mine was awful - I had a felafel wrap that was overpoweringly sweet in flavour with an excess of cloying dressing, with seemingly nothing to balance out those flavours (a few bitter leaves or something might have helped). Despite the fact I was starving I only ate...

The high rating is given to the Barista Zala (no idea if it's spelt right). She's all the time focused, keeping an eye on the display about the upcoming drinks and restocking while the shop is relatively quiet. Patient and polite to customers' requests as well.

I have visited several shops around the area and most of the baristas don't give a shxt about what they served you (cold or dead shot or wrong drink etc).

I know how hard a barista's life could be, but you can always tell if someone is making an effort....
