Had their Overload Full Breakfast which isn't on their menu but you have to ask the person that is serving you at the counter for it. It consists of Two fried eggs, two sausages, two turkey ham rashers, two strips of grilled halloumi, toast, chips and beans. Very good portion size and everything was really good taste wise, but the mushrooms seem to be boiled instead of pan fried, so next time will ask if the mushrooms can be fried instead of boiled. Was told by my brother of this Overload Full Breakfast and he said to try their Nutella Hot Chocolate drink along with it, which I didn't have as he told me about it after I had eaten and left the cafe, but will definitely try it next time. It does fill you up well and feels it's proper your money's worth. But definitely recommend this nice place and the size of the cafe is big and feels more at home to be a restaurant. Staff are friendly and professional. Food was served in good time.

This was my 3rd visit to this place and today has been a let down. Not the best place for brunch however this was quite local so decided to go here for some food as it’s a short walk. We walked into the cafe and seated ourselves as there were not wait staff around. Last time we ordered via the QR codes on the menu however these weren’t working. We waited about 10 mins before we got up and ordered at the counter as no one was coming. The food was ok nothing special, the overload at £13 was not worth it. For that price you’d expect sourdough rather than one white toast, chips were overcooked however the quesadilla was nice and would order again. Previously the chicken and waffles were good, feel like the standards have dropped.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love how cute and aesthetically pleasing this cafe is. The menu has breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert options so you’re never out of ideas and can pop in anytime of the day. It’s situated close to the DLR / Overground station so it’s a bonus. I’ve been here a few times to buy coffee (SOO GOOD, especially the special syrups during autumn gives it the cozy autumn vibes) but recently tried the southern fried chicken wrap recommended to me and I was impressed! I will be back to try the other wraps… I was served by Sarah who is ALWAYS kind and friendly and makes the whole experience at Querky cafe memorable. Great customer service I’m impressed ❤️

Took a long time to write a review about this café because I always hope for it to change every time I visit it. Firstly, I give them credit to the food and drink menu as it's amazing, the food is one of the tastiest I've ever had and the drinks are well made. However, even after refurbishing the place, it's still the same regarding customer service. As a café manager, I know for a fact this ongoing issue is not the waiters/waitresse's fault, but the managers. If the staff had proper training on how to keep a café clean – as it's always dirty every time I come (e.g. floor full of leftovers, tables not wiped after each customer and sticky, salt and pepper baskets gone) – I believe this café would have a queue outside. Also, staff seems like they haven't been trained either on how to deal with intolerances and allergies. Last time I was here, we got an Iced Latte with cow's milk instead of oat despite me pointing out twice it's a bad intolerance (we found out later in the toilet, of course). Not to forget that the neighbourhood cat is always sitting on one of the armchairs or wandering around – I love cats myself, but I don't think a place where food is served couple of meters away is the right place for a pet that can also trigger allergies. Last but not least, I'd also point out the long waiting time for each dish, either eat in or takeaway, and the lack of proper uniform for the kitchen staff (once I've seen one of the chefs wearing flip flops-sandals while cooking). This may not affect the food and its quality, but the opinion from behind the counter would be negative for the customer. I don't think the owner/café manager takes their time to read all these negatives reviews below mine; if so, I believe they would have changed all the issues addressed which basically are the same ones I'm stressing here. Again, it's a shame that staff aren't properly trained by the manager because it's a wonderful café and could be the best one in the area if the service was improved, added to the fact that is newly refurbished. I will keep going from time to time as the food is amazing despite...

I came in today with my sister for 2 cups of tea. Waited 40 minutes and still nothing. We were left waiting at the table unattended, with other tables being served before us, although they'd come after us which was very unprofessional. The lady that took my payment/order came to clean the table next to mine after a while, yet still didn't bother to ask why we were still waiting and unserved?! Despite the long wait! I then decided to enquire at the counter, only to find out that my order had been lost. So I just wasted 40 whole minutes. I was the going to demand a refund, but didn't want to be rude. So just asked for takeaway cups instead. Ngl I was so annoyed with the service today but bit my tongue & remained quiet, despite the awful service recieved. This is a place me and friends usually grab drinks from during meets. Anyways we won't be coming again especially afters today's experience. I don't think I can anymore. It was a terrible experience. We friends better find an alternative place nearby for our meets. Please fix up for other customers, I mean that was the only reason for this review btw. I think it's really unfair that you didn't value our time or custom at all. You definitely lost us and may lose others, unless you make changes for improvement in service. Stay blessed anyways- All the best with making changes, if you choose to do...

So I love this company in general the food is good but but everytime I go to the Shadwell branch they never use gloves when making my wraps. It’s always one particular man. So I try my best to avoid this branch.

I literally watch the man from beginning to end making my food, constructing my wrap with his bare hands. only using tools when taking the chicken out the fryer. But I’m sure if it wasn’t hot oil, he’d use his bare hands to do that too.

In a world of Covid and new variants constantly popping up everyday, it’s crazy to me that workers would think it’s okay to not use gloves when making food IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS.

Plus what’s weird, is all the other workers had gloves while making sandwiches and shakes. I thought it was just a one off the first time I went, but since my friends have visited and witnessed the same thing. I came in today for a wrap hoping that my first experience was a one off cus like I said, I like their food. But again, months later, still no gloves.

So just a warning to people who want uncontaminated food, prepared correctly, this is not the place to go. Any other branch is probably safer.

I have an image of this but it does include his face so I thought it’s best not to...
